Unable to log into game.

Alright so basically what I've done is downloaded the manual patch. I've started it, ran it, version is up to date, but when I click start I get this little thing that says "Could not launch game." Any reason for that, or even how to fix it?

    im downloading my manual patch now, hope it doesnt happen to me O.o
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    this is very aggravating.even having a fast computer and connection this takes forever and a day.i was hoping to get in this year

    my manual patch is almost done though o.o

    This is super dumb. I stayed up till 3 in the morning for this **** that doesn't even work?

    Like is it my virus protection or what? I'm all out of ideas for this one...

    I'm having the same issues, and I usually have a very good internet connection. My anti-virus protection program flashed a box saying something about a virus and PerfectWorldInternational, but it disappeared before I could do anything.

    Had the same problem. I allowed the suspicious file to be downloaded, ran my comp in safe mode, and virus scanned the file again. I was able to connect this time with no trouble.

    I might know how to fix this issue you are haveing.::::::


    have you tried uninstalling perf. world and then installing it back onto the computer...
    try runing the program as administrator...( right click on the icon and scroll throught the menue)
    (if you have a windows) go to the control panel and click programs... then click unistall a prgram... when you highlight the program perfect world it should say unistall and repair... click repair

    Yeah, i am having the same problem and i checked on the status of the other servers from this website and it is saying only 2 servers are offline but when i try to login to the servers that are suppposed to be online it keeps saying
    [Unable to connect to server] I have no idea what to do.

    Try waiting to login to your fav server until later.

    Or try playing on another one.

    The server you are trying to login into might be near/at max capacity since everyone wants to check out the new stuff.

    It could be your antivirus or network. See links below for help \/

    Let us know what you have tried and what errors you get.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    Tried Verifying files, Running PW as Administrator, Running PW in Safemode, Uninstalling & Reinstalling, None of them work.

    Still Getting the message: "Unable to Launch Game" when I click start in the game client.

    Never had this problem before the patch.

    Help pls.

    i've added perfectworld to my firewall so my system to read the file but i still cannot connect to the server

    Ever since the new updates, this has been happening. But it seems that if I verify the files, it works after. You guys should give that a try.

    But right now it's been 'verifying' for 3 hours...

    It seems like lots of people are having this problem. It's quite depressing and I hope it's fixed soon.

    it seems this problem is only on vista and mircosoft 7 or watever number lol. out of my 3 computers 2 of them are windows XP and run fine but my computer that is window vista cant log on keep saying cant launch sever or watever. i uninstall verify all that **** im lost now. this pc lag free so i want it to work.b:cry
