GBA boss has an aoe attack until you kill a certain number of mobs first, its either 16 or 21, im not sure, if you clear the first room, the room leading up to coredash, the two whip mobs before coredash, and all the mobs in the room before GBA you should be fine. if you dont lure coredash out to the main room, and take the long way around back to the main room as well, you will definitely avoid the AOE. you get a mob counter quest when you enter 3-1, track that quest.

kill 2 mobs in first room and pass the rest into tele

kill the 4 mobs in the hall before coredash

kill the 4 mobs in the room of coredash

lure coredash out to the staircase and kill

kill the 6 mobs in lobby before behemoth and then kill behemoth, snake, 3 minute boss and hag boss

    rinse and repeat

(if someone in your party has target on djinscream while doing behemoth and snake boss you can attack him through the wall for attack buffs and chi)

just 10 mobs and ur good to go. first boss doesnt stop aoe unless he's lured out the door tho, but on any of the other bosses after 10 mob counts u'll be fine

The location you fight the 1st boss has nothing to do with his AoE. He has one if you havent killed 10(?) mobs yet thats much harsher. And his regular one is targetted AoE, or splash AoE, meaning he launches it at someone with aggro & it AoEs around that person, instead of around himself. So many get hit more by it in cramped quarters of his room but not out on the balcony simply as a matter of spacing.

And Dark Collusiast (Giant Beast) likewise has a deadly AoE if you dont kill enough mobs on the way to him. Everyone has different reports on the number needed to be killed, but to be safe i always killed exaclty 20 (5 of the 7 in the entrance room, 6 on the way to coredash, 3 (actually 4 but oddly 1 never counts) going to steelation, then the 6 in the room leading into the final 4 bosses). And that amount always kept me safe from deadly AoEs.

3-2 has a similar counter setup, and for bosses such as Minister & Emperor you need somewhere around 40 mobs killed, again noone seems to have the exact figures. This TT is often considered the most tedious, long, & arduous out of all TTs.

3-3 you get a repreive as there's no mob counter & kill requirements anymore.
