IF the orbs have a low mag req which would allow u the choice of arcane and light armor............. which do u speculate would be best b:bye

    hmmm.... since people have been saying its more of a support class than a DD, it would probably be wise to go LA or add some vit like clerics, however i didnt read up on the skills lol so im not sure what the skills' effects are based off of

    I'm not exactly sure. I have a feeling that light armor wont be so bad since some spells repell attacks, to get the most out of them Psychics will need a higher defense. If the skills repell attacks based on how much hp we lose ourselves then its best to have good defense, but if the attacks reduce the amount of damage and counter it back, then defense from gear wont be as important because of the counter spells.

    If you're going to reflect more damage the more damage you take, wouldn't you need lower defense to take more damage...ijs.

    It's based off of your soul (sounds like energy), and they also have a skill to grant immunity to phys damage for 8 out of 30 secs.

    actually, from korrens thread it seems psys will do more dmg then wizard, but its only speculation.

    i m lvl 41 LA psy and so far i enjoy it. From what i can see most of our skills are aoe so better get LA armor so as not to die too fast, a good crit rate is still good for a DD build toob:pleased

    if u got some funds got arcane - u will need good gear and some refines to make it work - as ur soulforce rises with the cash u spend in gear

    didnt find LA an good alternative lately .. although it can be pretty nice in lower lvls ---- but one for sure - restatting to arcane in 80/90+ seems to be some of an must


    but thats only my personal experience so far

    I think Psychics are nukers that shouldn't be touched, but are made as if they do get touched, they deal even more damage and they cripple their agressors.

    It's kinda weird, they're powerful nukers so a full arcane build seems appropriate, but you have to have some hps and some gear if you want your Souls to be useful. I made some kind of an hybrid build myself :

    Based on what I'm gonna call "normal" levels and "special" levels, normal levels being 2, 3, 4, 6, 7... and special levels being 5, 10, 15, 20, 25.

    Every normal level I alternate 4 mag and 1 vit, and 4 mag and 1 str, like this :

    - level 2 : 4 mag, 1 vit
    - level 3 : 4 mag, 1 str
    - level 4 : 4 mag, 1 vit

    and then :

    - level 5 : 5 mag
    - level 10 : 5 mag
    etc...

    up until level 25, where I started going full mag every level. I was able to wear good armour without needing to refine them until I reached level 30. I'm now level 32, I have something like 140 mag and 17vit/str and I plan on skilling back some vit near level 45, but haven't figured out how to do it right yet.
