Pets in high lvl

hi everybody :) i've got a question about the high lvl pets.. I met this venomancer with a cool pet that i would like to have.. but i cant tame it because it's lvl 61 and i'm only lvl 29.. if i get someone to tame one for me could i have it directly or do i have to wait until im lvl 61 ?
i mean like does the pet go back to lvl 1 when you've hatched it ? :)

    no, then you'll have to wait till you're lvl 61.

    You will have to wait till level 61 to use it.
