Lvl 4 Crafting two star armor

I received a quest from the Tailor and Blacksmith in Archosaur to make Two Star Weapons and Armor. I got the materials and made them but they are only one star. How do you make two star? I was told it's luck and to keep trying. Is that true because thats alot of materials?

    Depends. You can also buy the 2* from people/Auction house since it's not necessary that YOU make them.

    I had to craft about 25 items to get the 9 2*s needed for the quest.

    you realize they are on the AH every day for 500k-1.25m ... have fun buying 9 of those.

    The rough odds of crafting a 2* is usually around 30%. It varies from item to item a little but 30% is the norm. 3* is only about 5%. It is usually wise if you're going after the 2* item to come prepared to make several at once. I've found rolling in bulk and stopping when I get the 2* makes me feel less unlucky then trying each time I've accumulated enough to try once.

    Another thing you could do. If your in a guild and have others that have the smithing and tailoring skills you cud simply ask them, im sure they would be more than happy to help and this saves you money and time :)
