PWI - MAC - VMware Fusion 3

Ok, I know that PWE doesn't officially support playing PWI on a Mac, but I've seen posts from darthpanda saying it OK for players to help players. So....to all of the other players out there:

I've been reading that VMware Fusion 3.0 is the greatest thing since sliced bread. They're touting 3D Gaming performance as a big feature. So I'm wondering if anyone has tried to run PWI inside of Fusion yet.

If so, what were your results? Does it work? Does it work well enough to play for hours without crashes or aggravations? Do you have to sacrifice detail levels? (I'm running w/all settings maxed on my main gaming rig)

The main reason I'm asking is that I'm about to get a MacBook Pro and would love to be able to play PWI on it. I'm hoping that I don't have to use bootcamp and reboot everytime I wanna play.
