Dreamweaver giving weird lag...

Hello,

I'm still relatively new (lv. 29 cleric) to perfect world, and I have a question.

When I first started I created a character on Dreamweaver because it was the server with the lowest ping time. Now suddenly for the past three or four days the ping for Dreamweaver has been hovering around 3000ms, yet all of the other servers are saying between 15ms and 200ms.

Nothing on my end has changed (ie. same comp, same connection, everything else network related is working fine, I've even called my provider and they say everything's fine - and they're reliable). Does anyone know why I'm getting such ridiculously high pings from Dreamweaver and if there's a way to fix it? If I can't fix it, can I move my char. to another PvE server somehow? :S

Also, if this is just a temporary problem on the server's side, let me know .

Let me add, I played on Dreamweaver for about two weeks before the high pings started with no lag time at all.

Try reviewing the Networking info and antivirus info in the FAQ.

Your antivirus could be slowing traffic down if it scans it on incoming and outgoing.

Network issues are like care traffic on a freeway. Somedays there are no problems, traffic flows smoothly. Other days, there are delays, constructions, rush hour traffic and more. So it could be the times of day in your region among tons of other networking possibilities.
