Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0

The beginner's guide is a good guide to being not-poor. It won't make you rich, though.
If you want to be rich without putting real money into the game then you either need to get to a reasonably high level and farm TT, or else you need to learn how to buy and sell items via your cat-shop for profit.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You will be "poor" for a while due to learning skills and such...
However...about level 50-60, it becomes much easier to make $$[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
RoidAbuse is awesome, only he would sell his sperm for gear!!

you only have 35k at level 60?
by level 60 i bought both wedding packs, 2 land mounts and a galactic beetle and had at least a few million left.
you aren't selling everything to the vendor are you? pay attention to what people are selling and for how much, try selling on your own and pay attention to what sells and what doesn't then offer to buy those items to sell for a profit, just like everyone else. the better you are at it the more money you will make.
you can also make money from the cash shop by buying gold and buying CS items to sell but that is a little more risky due to the amount of taxes you pay at each step along the way and what items are on sale and when and how in demand they are.
i can easily make 1 mill a day without killing a single mob, keep in mind you do have to have money to make money, that is true in real life as well.
the golden rule i follow is, don't try to **** people over by offering petty amounts for items like 500 for a rough fur only to try and sell it for 10k, that is bad business(selfish business in other words) and you won't get many sellers or buyers. in retrospect if you buy at say 4k and sell at 7k you will get infinitely more in sales but at less profit, but over all you will still be way ahead.
positioning your cat shop is also underrated when buying or selling, i try to avoid the middle of archosaur because it's a cluster****. i also don't bother with shops that park in front of or on top of NPCs because it is irritating for me, you and everyone around you to actually talk to the NPCs. if you think it gets you more clicks, i doubt it. most of my visits are in areas that are well travelled but very dry on shops, like west gate.
another tip is, check the cash shop huddle forum. there is a little write up with links to ways to earn free zen by taking surveys and trying free trials. open an alternate email account and sign up and take the surveys, the alternate email account will be spammed to all hell but that was the point. in the end you have about 20-30 gold for taking a few hours out of your day to sign up for some lame-**** advertising ploys.0 -
I never really bothered with kitty shops until now. I found that the AH had some pretty good deals. However, 35k isn't very good to start off with. You might have to sell some of your stuff and rebuy it when you're rich. I feel poor after listening to these people. I might JUST reach 10 mil once I sell all the stuff I've got on me. I mightve had another 5.8 mil if I hadn't gambled it away before. But thats hardly enough to buy a galctic beetle and some fast ground mounts. QQ[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thank you Forsakenx for the picture. b:thanks0 -
other little tips, things in demand are:
1)fashion/pigments- if you buy anything from the cash shop it should be pigments only
2)mid level mats sell for more than any other tier- harvesting in some areas you can make up to 400k in an hour just gathering up free pops on the ground. ignore herbs, they are weaksauce in value. in some cases you can't gather mats yourself so you need to set up a shop to buy them to later sell
3)armor is common drop off of mobs- decomposing armor is easy so being a tailor is your best friend. selling chi stones can be quite profitable. make sure you repair anything you can before decomposing it though..= more chi stones in return. some people like to roll alts and have money to spare.
there is others but those are easy ones. items move the most in the most played level ranges, surprisingly that level range is still 25-40.0
