Anyone know how large the map is in this game?
As in (kilo)meter length along the x- and y-axes, distance between major areas, or time it take to fly between certain areas with default (5.5m/s) or otherwise aerocraft?

Just go till the end of the world [Unavailable Area], and fly to the other side. Check time, check speed and calculate it.
No need to be a math wiz for that.Building one...

Here I'll start it for you:
With +3m/s wings it took me 12.39 seconds to fly 10 ticks (300 to 290).
Not 100% sure how fast +3m/s wings are (8m/s? 8.2?). Find speed * 12.39 * (1/10) is how many meters 1 tick is. Multiply that by # of ticks on the map for both the x and y coordinates and you are done.
Edit: I didn't do this because I am an archer u____u it's finals so I'm in the thinking mood

Took me a little under 6 minutes to go all the way from the West to the East borders on the world map with 15 speed wings.
Once the expansion hits, the north to south will take awhile
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

My speed is 5.2m/s and wings are +3m/s but I have a feeling it isn't +3 your speed.0 -
The speed of flight = 5m/s (base speed) + wing speed.
Which equals to:
speed = 5 + 3 m/s
= 8m/s with Devoted's wings
In PandaGM's case, his flying speed would be 20m/s.

d = 7200meters

Its not "character" base speed. The base speed is 5m/s for all characters. Not sure if you knew that, just wanted to point it out.
A cleric with a 3m/s aero will fly at the same speed as a barb in tiger form with a 3m/s aero.I was early taught to work as well as play,

My calculations were done using the numbers provided by Devoted. The axis distances turned out to be:
x = 6997.872 m

d = 8 * 12.39
d = 99.12
Maximum coordinates are (706, 1010, 79), but d was solved for a coordinate range of 10 so you'll need to divide each coordinate by 10.
x = 99.12 * 70.6
y = 99.12 * 10.1
