You could use Ocean's Edge/Fissure -> Leapback -> Farstrike/Spirit Chaser/Smack when fighting BMs or Barbs.

A free hit or two while they're chasing you down under slow effect is always good.

I'm suprised nobody pointed this out but....LB can also be used to avoid those pesky "exploding-upon-death" mobs (*cough cough, reverix(fb39) and mobs leading to Drake(fb59) cough) Just set a bleed effect at about 5% health and gtfo of there. I also found that in FC runs, that boss with the, uhh.. SUPER..AWESOME..twirly whirl slash thingy that one-hits everyone, can be avoided easily with LB.

I use it alot on exploding mobs. Leap back when the mob is near dead followed by any ranged skill such as drakes ray/farstrike/smack/whatever to finish.

Also comes in handy in Frost for avoiding those flaming circle things at the first boss and the super whirling slash guy.

Good way to break free from a stun lock too, follow by a smack as they close in to you and stun lock them back.

And the obvious use of flying/swimming faster.

Speaking of Frost, I like to use Leaps to place myself right next to those annoying Bishops and drop a roar stun.

That way, I can avoid the annoying AOE freeze.

It's good for getting out of range of long-channeling big damage spells :x

If you were not at the caster's max range, I wouldn't recommend this since if you are at melee range, doubt even double leaps will get you out of their range in time.

Well i haven't used the spell myself but from what i've heard it is very useful against Barbs and BMs. I play a barb and i know for a fact that our spells can hurt if we hit. Just my advice.

You can use vs Magic mobs to avoid the first mag attack.

what you need to do is to get close enough, so when you finish your leap you are next to the mob.

You also have to be far enough so you dont agro the mob prior leaping.

    why?

Magic mobs have an agro zone simillar to a donut. if you leap from outside the donut to inside of the donut you would avoid the first mag attack.

it requires practice but after you get it, it becomes natural and easy.
