Visit any auctioneer and select 'gold trading' from the list.

You'll get a window up which has 'buy' and 'sell' buttons at the top and two smaller windows showing what prices people are buying and selling at. For buyers, you want to look at the top window, for sellers, look at the bottom.

Firstly to do anything you'll need to deposit gold or coins. With all transactions there's a small fee, so always deposit more than you expect to spend or sell. For selling gold, this fee will be in silver and gold, for buying gold the fee will be in coins.

With cash deposited click the top box where it shows coins. If you clicked buy, then this is where you put the amount you are willing to pay for one gold. If you clicked sell, then this is the amount you're are willing to sell each single gold for. The box below is where you put the amount of gold you want to buy or sell. The total shown is the amount times the gold you want to buy or sell, and a the fee is added on top (shown separately). Once thats done you can submit your request.

Unless you've put in a price which matches one of the existing sales, your request will remain until someone sells gold at a price which matches yours. At this point, the money and gold will be exchanged and you can withdraw the coins or gold from your account.

Occasionally if you have not put in a password you can find your gold trading account is still locked. Simply enter a blank password in these instances and you'll be able to trade gold once more.
