I was wondering because of the overpopulation on some servers will they put up a new one to go along with the new expansion???

    There should be a new funktion added to the forums: Everytime someone tries to send a topic that contains the words "new" and "server" directly after another, the creator of that topic becomes banned automatically for 48 hours. Would save Spoons a lot of work.

    Agreed. There isn't going to be a new server anytime soon. The servers are not full.

    i expect that this won't be locked til like Monday when the mods/gms come back to work b:sweat

    and how are the servers overpopulated? o.O
    like...what level are you? do you see how desolate some grind spots are? i play alts aside from the archer and it's definitely not overpopulated whatever level range i'm at.

    OMG! THE SERVERS ARE NOT OVERPOPULATED!

    Just cause you have a pentium III and dial up connection and it lags in arch it doesn't mean the servers are over populated.

    the only ppl who want new servers are ppl under lvl 7x who think that its impossible to catch up. if it was up to them, there'd be a new server every week.

    server capacity is probably not even at 50% yet. we will need a new server when u are alone in an instance and it lags like west arch.

    That lag isnt based on your system. Even an i7 975 with SLI gtx295 might lag.

    TBH, I would rather have a server merge over a new server anyday.

    huh....me has no lag....even in west arch....the problem be most likely be you? b:chuckle

    Lag has very little to do with server population. Lag is the delay during information exchange between client and host computers. Everyone experiences lag though some experience it in much shorter durations. As MagicHamsta said "me has no lag", well, yes he does, it's just so minuscule that he can't tell that he has it. I recommend getting a faster computer and Internet connection to reduce your lag time.

    Another new server thread? Good heavens this is beyond silly.

    The last "new server" thread we had ended up in a few noobs claiming servers were at full capacity and then proceeded to QQ about how TW wasn't fair and we needed these new servers.

    It was locked because the morons were flamed into oblivion after a given point.

    Personally, it should have been locked for the sheer stupidity of a question so old even the dead horse isn't being kicked anymore.

    Yea.. I dont think you understood me. Lag is not based on your hardware. While strictly every packet experiences lag, the term lag is used to refer to delays noticeable to the user.

    Ever played a twitch FPS (example because lag must be mininal in these games)? You will sometimes notice that even players with the greatest rigs/computers will lag because of their connection. Now, this does not mean it is their ISP's fault, it can also mean there is an issue somewhere with the actual game/host.
