Hey guys
So my faction ppl think i shouldnt change since barbs pwn but i dont see myself doing that.. i dont do extreme dmg, nor am i unbeatable or anything like that :P
so, im lvl 32. if the case is that i dont pwn at this lvl but at a higher lvl, please tel me the wen 'the time' will come :P
Here are my stats:
Without equip=
Vit- 49 , Str- 100 , Dex- 21
With equip=
Vit- 55 , Str- 101 , Dex- 21

my phys attack is 329-746, phys def. is 1305.

wat do you guys think? am i going the right way?

P.S: in Dai's list, 32 is missing so i put that 5 to str and the other 5 will go to vit on next lvl and i think i ll be on track then.
also, is there a max. amount of points you can put to Str and stuff?
and wat kind of necklaces and stuff should i wear? the elemental or bla bla?

i think you need to get to a lil higher lvl before barbs really show their profits ; ) so just keep playing for another week or something... ^^

bout the accs: most times the ornaments with mag def are usefull, since we got almost no mag def with our heavy armor. I am using em atm, but i also got some phys def ornaments in my inv. On lvl 81-82 you need to kill loads of phys mobs, so then i dont care about magic def xD

btw, barbs really pown!!!

try gettin accuracy/dex neck, belt and rings itll help you hit more. and get hp on everytihing else

Believe me, get to 75+ and then you will see what barbs can really do. Once that HP skyrockets and Armaggedon starts oneshooting people you'll be happy you chose barb.

Stick to the builds listed (Str 6, Vit 3, Dex 1 every 10pts) and you will go far. At your level you are seeing only the first benefit of being a barb: not dying all the time on same level mobs. It gets way, way better. When adding in all the skills that you get.

Accuracy shards and adds are incredibly helpful. Bloodbath, an accuracy skill, is useful in PvP (from what I've heard) but nothing beats having 1000+ accuracy without it and still having the str to wield your axes, and enough vitality to tank.

it even gets better when you make it to lvl 77, there you can wear misty forest rings, which add 50% acc. my base acc atm is almost 1200 n i got less then 50 dex xD (then you wont have to use bloodbath anymore, it takes to much of ur max hp)

That's very true, but if you go sage and get Sage BloodBath, it wont be so bad as it only takes 10% of your max HP, while still giving you 225% more accuracy . So if you're not lucky (or rich) enough to get the misty forest rings by that time, that's a better alternative.^^

thanks guys. so im on track and this will get better huh. kool, i wil stick with barb and pwn your ..... i think i can rely on those posts since its from experienced barbs as i see it ;D
ermm.. one question i still got. wats the max. amount you can put in to STR, DEX or VIT?

also, XylolyX suggested a build which aint either tank, dmg dealer nor hybrid. so i would love some comments on that build (Str 6, Vit 3, Dex 1 every 10pts)

and as far i know there isnt a cap on ur stats, its at least more then 259 xD since thats my str ; )

I dunno about the 6 3 1 deal. 12/4/09 I restated to a str/dex build and I've had more fun playing pwi since then, than ever before. Of course I went from 15/18k hp to 14/17k but imo it was worth it. My advice to anyone that asks the question: "Am I doing it right?" is this: Are you having fun? If you're having fun then your doing it right!

Kiyogashi - Heavens Tear

The best barb I was ever in a party with was a "Pure VIT" Build. He had a CRAZY amount of HP. He only put enough STR/DEX for his wep/armor and rest into VIT.

It's scary to imagine pure VIT build barbs at level 102..

use it togheter with sunder n you can grind without charms without breaks

isnt the build Kiyogashi talking about the normal tank build? or are you talking abt just enough to wear noob armour? xD
and do you guys think i should switch to Str 6, Vit 3, Dex 1 every 10pts build? is it a better tank than Dai's one?

Looked at the stats of a 100 barb last night with eye of observation, only 26 lvls higher, but the differences were insane. His physical attack was roughly 6.5k-11.5k, 19.8k hp buffed in human, 13.5k phys def in human, now, tell me that you wouldn't like to have those stats. Yea, thats alot of cash shopping, but yea, thats an insane amount of ownage.

its not just cash shopping, its probably a sage that just got most of his skills ; ) makes a huge difference

shapeshifting intensify +120% instead +60% armor
true form: +40% instead +30% hp
buffs are also +40% instead of 30% etc...
probably he got a +5% hp necklace too, so that way its not that hard

I believe the build ur using is for a Vertical or Balanced Build. I am using a similar build, but I switched mine up at 30 to a 4-4-2 Str., Vit., Dex. I will use this until 40. Then may switch to a different build, I do not plan on playing PVP w/ my Barb. So it really depends on what ur game play is. Do u like to "Crush Enemies, See Them Driven Before You, and Hear The Lamenations of the Women" or what? It's ur character. We can only give suggestions. Oh and Btw, I was using a 8-1-1 the first 20 lvls. Str., Dex., Vit.
