Question on Pre Paid Cards

Are stores suppose to charge tax on these cards? Cause my hometown none of the stores (Target, 7-11 and the 2 Gamestops) charged tax, but the one in my college town did

    Stores around colleges always charge either tax or double the price. ****ing ****, as if we're not broke enough as it is.

    This is all Dependant on the state and county you live in. Whatever your local laws are in regards to purchasing these types of cards will determine whether or not you can be taxed on these cards.
