Weapon Evolution

Hi guys, just a quick question, looked everywhere and couldnt find much info on what should be natural evolution of weapons for barbs. I dont want to make the same mistake that i did with my wizz and buy/make expensive weap that at the end didnt contribuite to my end game weap.

So lets say, after u get that shine weap from the stash box at lvl 20 what should a barb invest on?

well...i cant tell u much about endgame weapon...

and now that we'll have the new dungeon to upgrade the level, im more than confusedb:puzzled

i know that the Ancient devils soul will be a pain to get, but it will be a nice challenge farm for em...

From lv20 to lv60, just go with stash or rewards, unless u blacksmith urself, than have fun and good luck.
At lv60, TT skeleton axes all the way.
lv70, TT
lv80, TT
lv90, TT
lv99, TT
lv100, TT

If ur too poor, then go with molds, but before lv69, they're not worth the price for the lvl, coz u lvl fast still and mold is rare so will be expensive and ull get rid of it soon.

As for the choice of the weapon, i go with the Vit-HP axes, but just go browse through the forges. Make a long-term choice on ur TT70 axes coz ull need the right one eventually. I chose the +10STR one to gain access to the TT90-TT99 i want. So 10 lvls of having the wrong weapon, but will have the best end-game ones!

Also, if ur good enough, u can go for the ultimate weapons at lv80b:laughwhat a joke lol.

i personally used the thunderdeath edges, and still have them in my bank.
they rock, and it beats the hell out of using shinro axes, you only lose 21HP to the giant ape axes (if they are maxed stats) and a 3second stun that doesn't help you on bosses.
in return? 2% crit and +118 max attack
+118<--- that is more then what you get for +5 on your axes.
and they are dirt cheap to make.
i fail to see the joke?
is it that thunderbolt->shinro is to expensive to buy a second set?
to hard to farm?
the only reason you'd take shinro over thunderdeath is if you just haven't thought about it.
as for ape->star that's a dead end when G15 gear comes out.
you'll end up having to re-farm or re-buy 60-70-80-90 again to get the brimstone edges, or make the TT90 chaotic implement->TT99 anchor of chaos. *$$$ b:surrender*
in the long run, you lose out more going ape->star.
well.. unless you enjoy spending ungodly amounts of time in TT.

TT70 Heraldry *farmed up mats for both 70s while i was here*
TT80 gold Thunderdeath
TT80 Lion King *only for souledge*
Pan-Gu's Giant Axe
TT90 Hatchets *regret doing this somewhat*
have chaotic implement's souledge in my bank waiting to make anchor of chaos for new dungeon.

Calamity *farm or buy 2 thunderbolt*
TT80 gold thunderdeath *farm shinro*

yeah, this poleaxe should be endgame for tank (for me at least)

but, due to the nearly-no-chances of dropping FC.mats

the only way to get the PAN GU is by having luck with packs...b:surrender





i personally set my end game after getting demon, so basically level 90

i will continue to play just for the fun of it, ill enjoy my barb, which will pay me back for all the effort i spent





so, my endgame weapon should be the

seeing that ill have time to spend, ill run many TTs and FC

so who knows, i could get lucky and make the PAN GU pole too...

GX are TT90 gold axe, which I love. If you are interested in the new G-15 weps you can forget about making GX, as the G-15 will be made form TT99 weps. Hope this helps.
