    black is every colour mixed together, and is considered a shade, not a colour
    white is where there is no colour, and im pretty sure it is also considered a shade

    Black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum; they absorb all such frequencies of light.


    White is a color, the perception which is evoked by light that stimulates all three types of color sensitive cone cells in the human eye in nearly equal amounts and with high brightness compared to the surroundings.

    "black" objects absorb all the colors of light and don't reflect any back to your eyes, that is why it's technically not a color, but the lack thereof...

    White on the other hand is when all the colors reflect back =P

    two ways to think of it


    1:black reflects back no colors because it asorbs all of them so black is the absecence of coor and white reflects back all the colors so it is the combination of all colors\

    or 2: black asorbs all of the colors because it is every color and has nothing to reflect back to you, white sends back all colors because it is no color and it cant asorb any color

    too bad I can't vote more than 1. I love RED (I'm wearing red right now xD), grey, purple, black and white!

    the annoying part is that mostly I pick green for being discreet and normal and pink when all I want is the opposite.
