I'm just gonna state /one/ thing.

When you use oracles you mess up your character. Your character becomes too high of level and lacks the spirit nessesary to get the skills required for your level. Yeah, you get a bit of spirit for doing the oracle.. But there is a massive difference in spirit compared to using oracles and simple grinding/doing quests for your levels.

However you choose to play, is fine. If you have the money/time by all means, I say go for it. I'm just warning you now, don't expect to get your skills on time and or the proper order... :P

I grinded and quested my **** off, after doing it once I didn't particularly feel like doing it again when I have enough money to buy myself a quick level-up. And the spirit thing, they give...

Coin: 22,560,000 (9,400*2400)
Experience: 36,000,000 (15,000*2400)
Spirit: 8,400,000 (3,500*2400)

More than enough to level most needed skills if used wisely.

Actually, I do believe oracles provide the same ratio of exp to sp as all quest reward exp and mob kills. Which is exactly 20%. There is no difference between grinding, crazy stone, bounty hunter, world quest or scrolls of any type. If you have doubt, I would encourage you to do the math it will calculate properly. Using scrolls provides the same sp to exp ratio as anything else in the game.

By expressing this, I am not insinuating it about the author or all players who PVP or use scrolls~

I think perhaps it depends on why a person plays the game. Some are here for PVP only. I see most PVP players using scrolls where I am at. It makes sense for them to use them and get better gear and start refining, PWI makes their real profit quickly from those who use gold to refine or buy packs and get oracles. Those players I have found are usually less than savory players to grind near anyway. It seems they are usually the ones name calling, making threats mob hitting and kill stealing.

As a PVE player, It makes no sense for me to use 2400 oracles to level up. I won't get updated gear, I have no time to farm mats and I will reach a point where grinding is the only way to level. Who wants to hurry and get to the "Endgame" when it's nothing but grinding? you end up where you started. Being high level is only exactly that. Without the other experiences to enrich gameplay. For me, I would miss out on way too much of what I consider for me to be the main content of the game and most of the fun. I think it's more fun for me to farm the mats I need and do my quests and such. I don't feel others using scrolls to level places me at a disadvantage for my own purpose playing the game. I'm glad for the most part. It gets the emotionally crippled alpha male players who try to and believe they live vicariously through their char out of my way and out of my grinding area. They can trash talk and flame in world chat do PVP and scumbag people in a feeble attempt to make their in-game life miserable while I can enjoy my PVE portion of the game at a pace which I choose. Players scroll level for all different reasons, None of which hurt me for my own purpose in playing the game.

It is not an issue of whether or not I can win in PVP or that I can't afford it. My gear at level 69 is 160 mil~. In my own opinion the ratio of fun to cost is disproportionate. I have no interest in ego feeding and making enemies by the faction-full. Some players are decent people and they can handle PVP with a grain of salt, it's fun for them same as dueling is fun for me when the player is a mature individulal doing it for a laugh and fun. I find a lot of them are children with a damaged moral compass which makes me question how they can find their way to the PWI desktop icon. I said it earlier, For me only, I don't feel scroll leveling puts me at a disadvantage at all. It provides a market for me to sell when I sleep at night, since I can't sell anything else.

The scrolls I've collected aren't for PvP, it's because I grew tired of my blademaster and intend to rank my tideborn up quickly so I can play with my friends who aren't making tideborns. They don't want to leave their hard work to start fresh so I'm bringing my new character to their levels quickly.

I haven't actually "played" this character in over four months, I quit the game for that time and its mainly because blademasters are fairly dull in PvE enviroments, it's normally just auto attack and watch a movie (specially for TT/FF). Hopefully Psychics will be more involved and with their group buffs all around more entertaining.

High Level noob? Not quite, I'm one of the better Blademasters on Heaven's Tear and can beat players 10-15 levels higher than me. Calling someone a noob when you're posting on a level 30 is a pot calling the kettle black.

Noob is not someone new to the game. It is not someone who is not skilled. It is not gear level or shards. Noob is an attitude~

I have been called a noob by many players. Players who get beat in duels, players who hit my mobs that didn't realize I was already hitting it. All sorts of high level players and such. There is in fact a difference between someone who is level 103 spreading hate and believing their char is a physical addition to their body and acts like it REALLY is, and someone who is level xx fun to party with and can embrace other people's ideas and learn from higher level players and low level ones also and doesn't judge people by their level.

That level xx player, can always level, they can get better gear or better shards and become skilled and will be a high level player at some point if they continue playing the game.

That level 103 player will be the same foul, revolting and mentally inadequate disarmed outcast ( Except by players of the same incommensurate mentality) in 100 more levels.

just an fyi, 80 isn't grinding your **** off, hell even now with rb and bh 80 is a joke. even if you play 10 hours a week 80 wouldn't be 'grinding my **** off.'
