Self-minimizing? O.o?

Other than lag in heavily populated places or areas with a lot of shrubbry/grasses/flowers, I have had no problems running PWI on my old pc. Today, however, I have been experiencing something somewhat strange. The PWI client is minimizing itself all on it's own.
Caused me a death too. b:sad

This has occured several times already this evening. At first, I thought maybe my keyboard was dirty and sending false key entries to the game. Cleaned it, but the problem remains.

Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how do I fix it?

After I post this, I am going to try shutting down and rebooting my pc and restarting the game.

    Rebooting my pc and restarting the game did not work.

    Did a file verification on the pwi client ... did not work.

    I'm out of idea's as to what to do. I can't play the game if it's going to minimize itself every few minutes. b:cry

    Hey I've had that too, It minimizes the screen? I thought it was just a fluke, but somone told me to download the patches, which I have None! I've yet to try this.

    its been said in other threads..
    that this problem can be because of some program that is wanting to update or you have a Trogan virus.
    However i dont have any viruses or program pop-ups after inspection.
    I think it might have something to do with memory, but i'm not sure.
    GM told me to send in a ticket with dxdialog and hijackthis.. but i never heard back from them. lol

    I just upgraded to AVG9 (AVG8 will no longer be supported). While it was installing, I was watching the install progress and it, at one point, said; "Installing third-party files." That should have set off alarms, shouldn't it? b:lipcurl
    I don't recall AVG using 3rd party files in the past.
