what makes mages not suck after lv 59 (pve wise)

my LA mage aprouching lv 60 soon and i keep hearing how mages suck till 60. what changes at lv 60 that makes being a mage easier ?

    your TT 60 weapon makes you super overpowered for your lvl.

    You also get your one shot skills at 59 and it should one shot most people your level since they dont have super sharded and refined gear.
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    well, whatever weapon you had, the Ancient Arbor will be just twice as powerful. 60 is the lvl where playing a wizard becomes easy, very easy, at least in PvE. I never had any problems under 60 either but after 60 the whole story changes. It's kinda' like the change from 88 to 90, at 89 u get some enhanced damage but once u get a good TT90 weapon it's just a new world out there.

    LE: lately the 85 frost weapons kinda' changed that...unfortunately. They pretty much made TT80 weapons useless. Frost at 85->Lunar at 95 and you're set for endgame. TT80 and 90 are needed only if u plan something special for TT99.

    it was 4 times as powerful or something for me.

    me was using the level 4X quest weapon from the jewelscalen quest before me got me TT60....at level 65... b:surrender

    also um you can get Essential sutra that lets you kill mobs before they get halfway to you.

    But.... but my wizzie is 38 and i have no trouble with pve or pvp so far =P Things attack me... they die... i heal =P Am i doing something wrong b:shocked
    >_< I'm a wizard in disguise... you know like the old cartoon... except with less robots and more fire/ice/rocks....
