Saturday night Fyren and Vlarkin fly to Ba'Xian and Sonic spawnpoint and barrage them to the stone age until they ragelog then they go back and reinforce the Caesar defense. Vlarkin has a monologue with Fyren about the attack because Fyren's dog has eaten his microphone 5 times and Fyren refuses to buy another. Radiance warms up some thanksgiving dinner while they rack up some pk kills and they complain they are getting cranberry sauce on their keyboard. Rawthorne informs them you need two clerics in your squad to not get sauce on your keyboard.

Sunday Caesar no shows to Enrage, steamrolls Ragnaroc, and racks up some kills on Radiance. LadyofReal gets Gary in her squad because he alone can prevent her from getting sauce on her keyboard, then she puts on Snap - I've Got the Power and hopes to steal some of ALUBA's mojo.

Well, Tao bid first, and sat there happily being the only bid on Enrage for the first few hours then Ba'Xian(I kinda wanna see what nicknames are developed for them if they make the map, I predict something to do with sheep) decided "oooh Tao bid, this will be the perfect opportunity to sneak in undetected" and Tao grumbled as we would no longer get Enrage's full force for our battle. Several hours later, Sonic bid as well, and Tao accepted chances were we'd no longer get a battle, and the guild just continued on our way. When what to our wandering eyes do appear, but a WaR bid (yes I was happy, no to the best of my knowledge we didn't make it happen) and our battle would be by itself again hooray. After which Caesar and Triad bid and there was once again quiet indifference.

I try to hold myself to a set of morals and restrictions, sometimes I fail when trying to achieve my desires or the desires of a greater body that I work for. If you have answered yes to all of these questions, you are a True Sith Lord. Study these concepts well, and live them fully. Only then will you become a Sith.

Well, I called it. Pretty boring. One guild overpowers another and another guild overpowers another and another overpowers another. If the guilds were a bit more even, there would be more entertaining war besides no-shows and 1 hour wars.

Only solution is a gank on Tao, but no one has the backbone to do it(yet?). So, the quicker they take over most of the map the better for us all then maybe we can work together instead of eating the crumbs they drop. As long as Enrage can take land from Caesar they don't care. As long as Caesar can take land from Radiance they don't care. And Radiance just doesn't care.

So where does that leave us? In some sort of fail feudalistic land ownership where no one cares anymore as long as they get the weekly tax from the peasants. Someone else can do the schedule and prediction next week because as far as this archer is concerned TW is anything but alive and kicking at the moment.

I don't know who you are talking to, but I'll answer since you seem to be scared to post on your main, and rightfully so as blockheaded as you are.

In all fairness, I'm pretty sure that the major guilds were all a little short-handed due to the holiday. Still, it really was boring. I hate no shows, even if I do save coin on charms. I look forward all week to tw, and this weekend sucked. I hope next week provides a more interesting battle. Btw, loved your predictions tomi. Best thing on the forums in a long time.

Another thing. If you think Tao is on some kind of win road you are sadly mistaken. Every land Tao takes moves them one step closer to a massive gank. Was Radiance on a win road? Was Enrage on a win road? What happened to them? As soon as Tao gets ganked you will see what kind of win road they are on when they have to defend their land from massive attacks every week and land income not paying for TW cost anymore.

So please enlighten me in what you see as a "win road" with no fights every week, a dead TW scene, and heading straight for a guild collapse?

If any faction controls alot of land, its very unlikely for a gank NOT to happen.

Sadly, the moment a huge faction collapses, ppl will just leave and follow the power. Correct me if I am wrong, but ppl have this sense of instantly getting everything in a TW faction. Gear, refines, etc. etc. (Some reasons I have heard from ppl joining Taob:surrender)

The fact that Tao got free land is the reason why they expand.

How much land did Tao earn? How much from no shows?

Why ppl dont attack Tao? Who knows, ppl are scared, or find it pointless to do it. With the economy getting worse, ppl will TW if its only worth it. Tao picking off Enrage, Enrage picking off Salad, Salad picking off Rad. We all see that.

If your goal is to have war, then lopsided teams aren't conductive to that. Factions will eventually no-show when it's clear it will be a quick defeat and/or lots of resources wasted. If your goal is to make coin, then continuously taking land from other guilds on the map is not conductive to that. You will step on too many toes and multiple guilds will attack you. The profit from land does not cover the war cost to maintain it. If your goal is to keep your guild together, a gank against your faction is not conductive to that. Once the level requirement to join a TW faction rises and rises people get discouraged and leave the game. Enrage is already at a 95+ level requirement for many classes, and the way this is going it's only going to get worse. This isn't what you want for the game. The more people playing keeps costs down and keeps the game active. When the map gets to be a solid color it really discourages people that are looking forward to TW.

If your goal is to simply make coin, I can point you to the Delphi server on PW-MY where three guilds made an alliance and basically gold farmed the map for months on end. It was really lame, but it was successfully lame. So to answer your question yeah every guild on this server has failed so far to me. Every major guild has attempted to mass together every tom, ****, and harry on the server and zerg every other guild off the map, with no attempt at forming alliances or thinking of the consequences of their actions.

A TW guild is on a win road when they share with other competitive guilds and keep TW active and alive and fun. This is the ideal. I mean you *do* want PVP, correct? The problem is people are greedy, it's in their nature. TW is one of the few ways to have mass pvp on the server and not burn up 3 million an hour in guardian scroll cost. These servers have no functioning arena worth mentioning. Many people on a pve server come to DT or TW to get their pvp kicks.

So, to sum it up. Think of TW as a weekly event that guilds are able to have entertaining mass pvp, because at the core, that's what it really is. I don't expect many to understand this but that's the way it is.

Quite simply, because guilds are most concerned about themselves. Even if rad, enrage, and salad all ganked up on tao (and assuming they get the same timeslot), 1 of those 3 guilds will more than likely lose- noone wants to be that 1 guild.

So, there is no incentive for enrage and caesar to attack tao when there is easier land elsewhere, and because there is a possibility that they won't gain any land for that week. Rad will be the only guild who has an incentive to gank up on tao as they cannot get easy land elsewhere.

PWI economy is also killing TW. How many people prefer to run charmed in TW??? Stack against gold prices right now. Friends in TW guilds are telling me that they might have to stop TWing because gold prices are making charms to freaking expensive. Compared to a few months ago...yeah they've double. So TW = charm ****. TWs for 3 days + gold charms for 3 day + refining gear, getting gear mats (oh yeah how many use charms for TT) etc...yeah right so what to chose. I know what a lot of people are starting to chose and it isn't TW...

Poeple who do TW for profit clearly have their Maths Wrong, TW is for a competitive Mass Team based PK fest, and that should be the reason you do it IMO.

Many of us actually use TW as a Fun way to rewind after a hard week at work with no holds barred PVP action. So as long as people want that I dont see TW stopping.One proof of that is the fact these TW guilds are all chock full of PPL and its definately not because of TW pay or else you wudnt see any cat pullers TWing.
