Unwined BH79 runs

Up until now I still have had a squad of what appear to be people not paying attention, or having a slow response time (* not all of them ). At this stage I would think most people would know what to do and when to do it. Clerics seem to be the most highest priority of mobs in that dungeon and so far I never see people pull aggro from me within 8 to 10 seconds. And no, I'm not running away from them I'm behind them and they know it..

I often healed the puller expecting everyone would jump on the mob, but they didn't ( yeah I know I will take aggro and only do it when all the DD's/Tanks are x meters in front of me ). Had a near death experience on my first BH79 run because of that. I once put up a BB because of 5 mobs and guess what, they all came to me b:surrender ( the puller was in front of me )
And today I didnt even do anyhting and 2 mobs ran past the entire squad and let them gank me ( almost died again ) After I used a pot, healed, used second wind and a powder it still took like 5 seconds for them to aggro from me.

I never have experienced so many squads like this... I discussed this with another Cleric and she had the same experiences of it.. So how are the experiences of you Clerics ? I know there can be squads the opposite of this, but I have to see one yet b:sweat

People seem to rush a lot in bh79. If someone does something stupid, don't heal him/her til they have agro <_<

This isn't my actual account, but yeah, they go all leroy and expect me to save them. The last time I did a unwined 79, I died like 7 times with no dolls. Btw Hercs suck at maintaining aggro, never bring more than 1 veno, did it with three, and it ended up in a disaster.

yup. people leroy badly in bh79, and i found that sometimes h-lvls act more careful in fb51 than in 79 sic! b:surrender

but ramboing isnt so bad - i actualy like it (not so boring like pull/kill play)


worst thing: dumb melee leroys dont aggo well - and after that, they dont pay enough attention to take off mobs from shuishies

it is rly annoying when happens almost every mob-group

this happened to me in fb59 altho it was another cleric that was healin the puller (b:infuriated the BM with a zeal)

In ANY bh/fb : don't heal when they start attacking the mobs. Because even when you stopped healing, the mobs come to you.

This can be seen when you use IB on someone : as long as the skill animation is still on them while they pass a mob, the mob comes to the one who casted the skill, in this case, cleric.

I will start healing when they have the aggro, and can keep it. That's their job, not mine. Or stack a few ib's BEFORE they start running towards mobs.

Today i had a bm in bh who just passed the mobs who in turn attacked the rest of us. I used partyheal and managed to keep 2 of us alive. What was bm doing ? Running back to us when it was too dam late. And then he thinks i'm gonna run after him to keep him healed and let the rest die ?

Our job is to keep others alive. Their job is to protect the cleric from getting ganged up on so he can keep them safe.

Even when you use a charm, it's always a good idea to carry a few multi's or something of the kind to survive long enough for them to take the mobs attention away.

Luckily it doesn't happen very often to me.

Fail Venos. I did it with 3 Herc Venos (counting myself) and we're all L90+ and we breezed through the dungeon in no time. It was awesome. I ran unwined 79 today to get the Chrono culti done for my friend and was me and a L96 BM. Our cleric spent most of the time dead because they were too noob to pay attention to what was held agro and what was loose agro. Oh well. It worked out fine in the end.

If you read the thread "Taking Charge," that's my favorite experience in BH79. b:chuckle Clerics for the win.

Outside of people you work with on a regular basis, relying on others in 79 is tantamount to suicide. Even for a good barb (BMs have it easier since they have both ranged moves and speed hax), it can be a pain latching onto mobs that quick. Best thing you can do for yourself is keep your finger hovering over the Silent/Chromatic Seal key. b:victory
