Hi,

I stopped playing Pwi for about 4-5 months and now i wanna start again at another server.
But I noticed something while i was changing my system settings in Pwi...

Can anyone tell me why Perfect World International only recognizes 2048 Ram of my 4 ( Or at least 3.25 Gb Like microsoft says )b:shocked?

I am sorry if this question is answered somewhere but i couldn't find anything.

This game runs in 32bits mode.
Any OS that runs with a 3bits kernel will only see a max of 3.2-ish GB of RAM natively even if you have 4GB of sticks on your mobo (don't get me started about PAE support or other tricks)...

Basically most 32bits games/applications are hard-coded to run at a max of 2GB.

I know some will argue against this but that's the way it is.

If you want an application to see 4GB of RAM you will need a 64bits application running of a 64bits OS.

So only if i have 64-bit it'll see my 4 Gb.
