lines with mounts

As a lot of you noticed, mountslike the lobster and waning cloud have lines.
no, this is not another QQ thread. or asking how to fix it. I just wonder. will the lines still be there if I'm on one of those mounts?

I love the waning cloud, but if the lines are still there while flying on it I might reconsider if I want to buy one b:sad

    I get those mysterious lines too; I always know when a lobster is nearby... I haven't figured out how to fix it. D:
    But as far as I know when you are the one on the mount, the lines don't appear. So you should not have to worry about it if you own it. :3

    When Saukey decides she can swim, I know I didn't get the DC pop-up again. Wish she swam when it matters.

    hmm maybe if peeps posted what video card/driver version they have we might be able to figure out a direction to look at for a possible fix.

    OS: Windows XP Pro (fully updated)
    Card: NVidia 9500GT 512 meg
    Driver version: 191.07
    Lines: No

    I think it depends on the Graph card.

    My PC's Graph Card is a GeForce 8800 series. (No problem)
    My laptop's Graph Card is some lousy shared graph card. (Have e lines)

    I probably have a lousy graphic card. don't know what's the name of it.
    Can't check right now since I'm at school ^^'

    tbh I find them annoying, but I don't really care. I'm hardly around arch. Only to get bh and a squad.
    I'm just wondering if the lines will be there when I'm on the mount. ;)

    Nope, dont have any lines.
    Specs:
    3.Ghz Dual core processor
    Geforce 9600GT card. (512MB)
    Windows XP Pro (fully updated)

    9600 is an OK card, above usual standards for normal computers but below standards for gaming

    Never had lines. Have no idea what these lines are you're talking about. A pic of said lines would be helpful.

    Never seen the lines myself, on my laptop or my old computer, or my new one. However, I'm willing to bet it's something to do with the graphics card you have. My current one is designed for gaming, so it's probably not a surprise I don't see these lines.

    1.66 GHz guessing dual cpu (it says 2 CPU so yeah >.>)
    Mobile Intel(R) 945 GM Express Chipset Family (I'm guessing this is it. I think I got 2 of em.)

    I do see the nines on the mounts, my specs are:
    Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002
    Service pack 3
    Intel(R) Celeron(R)
    1.87 GB RAM
    1.50 GHz Processor
    I think that's everything....

    My friend has a GForce graphics card and doesn't see the lines. So I'd guess it is that. So I guess the only way to get rid of them is to get a new computer. T_T

    I always wondered what it was ppl were QQing about the lines on the mounts. Then I pulled out an old laptop, installed windows 7, installed PWI and started playing. Yeah, those lines are weird. Then I installed the latest video drivers and voila, lines were gone.

    So in conclusion, really poopy video cards, or cards without updated drivers may see the lines. Issue is DEFINITELY not a problem with the game, but with your system.

    i see those lines toob:chuckle i have a bad video card. first time when i saw the lines i was like:WTH where are those lines coming from?b:puzzled but i already knew i have a bad video card, cause the color of my fashion is really messed upb:cry
    so yeah, dont worry about it, if u buy a new video card the lines will dissapearb:pleased

    Either your drivers need updated or you have a Intel video chipset which if it's the latter, then there's really nothing u can do. I don't get the lines on my desktop which has a NVidia but do on my laptop and it has an Intel. The messed up thing is that my laptop has twice as much ram and processor speed, and plays the game so much better :(

    the lines sorta look like a BM's speed run.
    idk if it matters but I play on low detail for speed and I see em everywhere.
