frighten an useless skill ?

I have just noticed frighten doesn't work on bosses and FB mobs (small bosses aswell) because when im spell it the result is " resisted ". that say's to me it doesn't work even though the icon of fright is at the opponents window.

well the problem is frighten is only useable at stronger mobs (like BH's FB's etc.) i never needed it while fighting normal mobs.

    the resists stands for the speed debuff is ressisted but the p.atack debuff stil works so it is ussefull
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    Frighten reduces by % the attack strength of the enemies you are fighting. It is also a good chi building skill and aggro gathering skill for aoe grinding.

    yes, it works for sure. with my current level of frighten and devour, I can see boss damage go from 1100 to 700 after Frighten -> Devour

    If i use Frighten -> Devour -> Solid Shield (genie skill)
    it goes down to only 350 damage

    I havent even tried Invoke -> Solid Shield -> Frighten -> Devour, but I bet it would be like a pin prick lol.

    Stack that above with bestial rage if your HP is lower than 50% (shouldnt even be that way if you have a good cleric) and youll only get hit for like "8" against a magical boss.b:laugh

    i use it when grinding/questing on phys mobs. I will pick up 3-4 mobs, use frighten and beastial rage, then surf impact/sunder them to death. the damage reduction from frighten is nice. also reduces the aoe damage from drum and SB in the TT 1 dungeons
