Problems With .cup files

My dad has a gliding program (Condor if that helps) and it uses .cup files, and apparently PWI does too. The problem is that PWI automaticly takes claim over all these files as soon as he downloads expansions, making them PW Patch files, which makes it hard to get them into Condor(He has managed to do it but he'd prefer not to have to). Is there any way to stop PWI from taking over these files?

Thanks for the help, b:thanks

XYZ= name of gliding program (dk wt is gliding program)

Right Click File with .cup extension >Select > Open With >Select XYZ(name of Gliding program) > in the bottom >Tick mark Always open with XYZ

to extend on what sandeep said, you use the same steps when you need to use the .cup with pwi updates, just leave the tickmark for "always open with" unchecked (otherwise it changes them all back to pwi updater)
