What actually happens when you make the choice, do you share the same quests with each other or is one in eden and one in brimstone?

Any help would be appreciated.

After you make the quest choice , you will be sent to kill 3 bosses in either Eden or Brim.

Eden for Demon
Brim for Sage

Hmmm is the Demon version right ? Since I remember having to kill Phlebo aswell and then dig the chest behind him to recieve his key

Please, check quests for Phlebo, to be sure. None of them are for Spiritual Cultivation.

Need Phlebo's key from the 1k spirit

Then Harv the chest behind Phlebo for Princess's soulfire.

All 3 items are needed for Culti.

Granted you might be able to harv the chest without killing him.. but good luck with that lol.

So in theory dont need to kill him.Which is why killing him isnt part of the culti chain ( but since pretty much have to, its why you get 3 Tabs for 89 )

the cultivations are differnt, and so are some of your quests from now on, u will still get quests on the main map shared by both demons and sages, but, demons will get quests in the demon world and sages in the heaven world, they dnt cross over, u myt get a quest to go 2 the other one, but you one get a sages quest if your a demon

when u make the choice there is two npc, you pick the one you want and follow that path
