Skill Suggestion for Pets?

Hello,
I'm preety much confused about which skills I should buy for my pets. I've looked in guides but I don't seem to find info about that anywhere.
The pets I use are the following:
Crystalline Magmite L.60 with lvl4 Bash
Petite Sawfly L.60 with lvl 3 Bash
Kowlin L.60 ( I haven't made changes to it's skills yet)
and a Cub L. 43 which I got from AH and still testing if it's worth messing with it.
Also, I'm arcane build.


So, any suggestions on that matter are appreciated b:thanks

Well, depends what you want to do with them.

For plain old tanking:
The bashes (bash, toxic mist, fireball, icicle, lightning, something else) are good for damage and cycle quickly making them good for aggro.
Tough is good for staying alive, the healing one helps sometimes too.

Fleshream has that pvp bug...

Of the debuffs, howl and threaten are probably the most useful.

Shriek for cancelling I've not actually tried. It's supposed to be a real pain to get the timing right with, though.

sandblow is the earth-element bash,... ;-)

better keep your money
i skilled my golem some time ago for an easy time soloing bosses but now i dont use golem much since i got herc.
bash (obviously), threaten (reduce p.atk), tough (reduce damage received), shriek (intrerrupt channeling, was good for bosses like drum)
thats what you can get with npc scrolls, i'll never put a rare scroll on a golem

bash-aggro and tough-helping your healing when it is going downhill others choose yourself...*some people like flesh ream for aggro but its your choice*

heh, my pig has lv4 bash and lv4 fleshream, and though she is only 53, she takes down stuff lv80! tough lil porker.

If you aren't planning to get a Herc and Nix, I would recommend upgrading and mixing skills on some of your pets.

Kowlin - Max out F. Ream since it's already L4, all you have to do is reach L80. You can max out the debuffs as it pleases you. I'll probably do that myself. I'm probably going to buy Pounce and replace Bash with that as soon as I can find the skill scroll for it. Kowlins are a Land for of the Nix, in my opinion. It will squish entirely too fast though.

Shaodu - the best non-legendary tanker but low on damage. Bash is the fastest agro building skill.

Petite Sawfly - "poor Veno Nix" as some call it. Keep bash if you like it and add F. Ream for PvP purposes (if you wish to PvP).

Otherwise I have nothing else to add.

There is no best, and I think Ranged Pets would be more empowering.

Brael - Dreamweaver

I'm a fan of toxic mist for pets if you're going with an elemental bash. The reason is because like your nukes, it will generate more aggro (and damage) against earth mobs, and less aggro against wood mobs where your nuking aggro is cut anyways.

For Magmite adding fleshream for keeping aggro on increased life/elites helps.
Sawfly definetly fleshream for damage..
Kowlin I kept the same, I upgraded some though..
I used a cub from 58-71, and I liked it just as much as the magmite. But you do need to give it bash or level its flesh ream.
