    I will try and create a sword BM guide within the next week.
    Oh, and there is no stat difference between blades and swords.

    also weapons of the same tree have differant damage ranges and attack speeds but otherwise no differance
    Gifs are hard to make work here

    Swords have higher average damage.

    Blades have higher maximum damage....or spike potential, if you will.

    Duel swords and blades attack at a different speed than the single versions.

    Dual weapons are slower and have higher dmg (both minimum and maximum). :/ I'll check again but I am not sure you're right about the swords vs blades thing.
