sorry if this is a repeat i tried using the search but couldn't find anything regarding this. if there is please dirct me to the tread b:surrender


i was wondering about these public quests. they will no doubt rock! i wanted to know if there would be some sort of balance to prevent super high players from taking the top kill spots from lower level players.


or do i have this all wrong are public quests different from normal quests all together?

    I think, and DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THIS!!, but the way I read it is this:

    Public quests will be a PW wide quest where everyone can join in. Kinda like the Wraith attks with the exception that at the end of the Public Quests you actually get a reward according to number of kills/ dmg to any boss/ number of items from said mobs(if there is an item requirement). They havent stated whether these Public Quests will be lvl based yet. That would make more sense tho. Have Public Quests for example lvl41-60, 61-80 and so on.

    I used to play a game before. It was a single player game, but quite fun. In it, they sometimes had monsters attack the city. The players then had to defend the city. Every battle area had a couple of monsters, and you had to kill them all. Once you cleared that, you got a reward-like a token. You could then trade the tokens for equips. However, according to the number of kills EVERYONE has done, it changed from being mobs, to being a boss. You could then kill the boss. I was thinking that maybe these public quests will be something like where monsters come and invade archosaur, and you have to defend it. For every monster you kill, you might get a token you can exchange equips for. The person who kills the most monsters might get an added bonus, like 100 tokens or something. If that happens, hopefully the tokens wont be tradeable.

    Part of the charm of these is that some players will be playing against the others. I'm picturing some kind of tug of war, probably not literally, but something like that. I have no idea how it would work, though.

    well it would be nice to be awarded M chips to actually make those ultimate weapons possible to getxD

    I'm assuming that there will be tiered quests for balance reasons, but that's not something that is confirmed. You may want to check this thread, as it has the most conversation and information about this system.
