About long term pets

Hi. Im a sneaky new arcane veno. Im going arcane bc I dont feel like being the yoda of PK around with nix and herc, plus I wanna level fast. I dont mind being squishy.

So far I have the treefrog, which people advices not to ditch bc its a decent magic tank. I also have the Petite Sawfly, working on leveling it.

I have stacked a Volcanic Magmite, Snow Hare and Tabbly Plumdrop for lvl 18+.I wont invest much so I will have 4 pet slots available soon and maybe 1 more in the future, but no more hehe (unles I stack the required items).

Which pets should I keep? I am planning on ditching the snow hare,
Is the cat good at all? I want to keep it no matter what hehe. It even has flesh ream. Im thinking long term and full PvE wise, at least until I'm lvl 70 and can afford some fancy stuff.

    L2 Starter Scorpion
    Lunar Lupin
    Eldergoth Marksman
    Armored Bear

    I wouldn't spend anything on Golems, Sawflys, Frogs.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    If you plan on never getting a nix or hercules, then I would recommend:

    Volcanic/Crystalline Magmite - Physical Land Tank
    Shaodu Cub - All Around Land Tank
    Treefrog/Antelope Pup/Diabolic Jester - Magic Land Tank

    Petite Sawfly - Attack Air Pet
    Windwalking Piggy - Air Tank

    Eldergoth Marksman/Sharpshooter - Puller

    EDIT: for tweakz: the armored bear doesn't start until 80, but that aside, what is he/she going to tank with?

    so Crystalline? I have a Volcanic I bought for 500 coins lol
    (since I cant fly, best to put my main buying it)

    should I ditch then the cat, the bunny, and the volcanic and get a magmite?

    PS: Maybe someday I'll get an herc

    I use 3 pets atm - cristalyne/frog/bloodthirsty adawolf - and will add a eldergroth marksman later. Since I can't fly yet, I don't even bother ploting and planning on flying pets, but 98% it will be a piggy

    The level 2 and 3 beetles are good all-around tanks, too, and non-rare (so cheaper than a cub) and useable at lower levels than the cub.

    b:cry I meant to say: DITCH THE VOLCANIC AND GET A CRYSTALLINE. Every1 mentions crystalline even though Volcanic comes with Tough. b:surrender so idk which one to use

    there's a MINISCULE difference in crystaline and volcanic's defenses [i think also atk and speed] at lv90, so if tough is needed, it may be cheaper to go with the volcanic (good time to tough is just before an exploding mob goes off. helped my shadou cub survive in fb39 area at somewhat lower lvl... so the volcanic may not be a bad choice at all since it already comes with tough)
    i'm pro all classes, and against none in particular..
    but the age old QQ about venos is just that. OLD.
    QQ'd about a nix lately? check out this thread n tell me who's "OP" lol..
