Sage archers and PK

When it is an archer vs archer fight nothing really matters but timing.

This whole aim low thing i keep reading about is pointless. We have 2 skills that make this whole idea mute. 1.. use elven alacrity (nothing can stop you) 2.. use your 1000% evasion skill.. aim low will never hit.

In summery if you Time right you will always win. Archer vs Archer is a 1-3 shot battle.

20% STA is now irrelivent for HH, since every Sage Veno can now get it via Soul Degeneration. Dont know too much about Archers, but Demon=Better for PvP. Demon=Better for Rebirth(since Sage Barrage overides BB bless effect) but hey at least Sage fairy looks cooler b:chuckle

Understanding only comes through use in Real PvP situations.


You dont use Aim Low to kill a Barb - only to keep him stationary.


You just dont get that Aim low consumes 1 spark better spent on other skills.

Again your quite clearly pointing out the fact that archers fail soo much as a class that they have to get the first shot off.

Any class that is ready to face you will already have had their resistance up.

All you've done is waste chi for A damage amplifier, or a spark.

We deal pretty medeocre damage if we dont spend thousands of dollars.

Yes, Sage = More Damage if you crit - on a single shot.


Demon = More Damage overall because you crit more reliably.


No there isn't many you can kill solo with Demon Quickshot alone - afraid casters are onto us!


However, there is considerably less you can kill solo as a sage - you should know that after all, archer damage was incredibly fail before we could buy our way to victory.


Hence why most sage archers on our server are spending thousands of dollars in game on Anniversary packs right now.

I was buffed ofc, but those were some crazy EA fights we had that I really wish I recorded.. there was a whole lot of EVERYTHING being done, especially the last one where I went up and spammed demon wingspan & winged pledge lol

Archers arent pking machines it only depends on the build.Well im wizard so i kill wiz faster lol.the truth is im lvl 7xD i know every build i play alot.IM NOT NEW.
archers build: hybird,halfhybird,pure archer

hybird build: every lvl up 3dex 1str 1vit
halfhybird: every 2lvls 7dex 2str 1vit
pure archer: every lvl up 4dex 1str

I prefer halfhybird cause it has crit and more hp,pure sux ull die faster,hybird is OK it has more hp.

Miz I'm not trying to take sides, but think; do you have a 89+ sage/demon archer? Because personally; i think many of us wizzies would be annoyed if a pre-demon/sage archer came onto the wizard forums, and started spouting off about how being non-aligned with sage or demon was better than both for reasons xyz (just an example)

I'm not trying to hate on you; however these archers know their skills

For us wizards, the advantages of Sage were always there; however it just took some brave soul to get to 99 to realize that sage BIDS' effect procs and effects the spell itself, not just the following spells.

But yeah, interesting thread.

as an archer, looking at the specs of both paths. i would go demon. there simply isn't any choose in the matter. sure there are a few skill i like in sage path but demon path have the best selection of skills. anything that can incarese my attack rate and crit rate is all aces by me b:laugh
