simple poll, just wanted to see the general opinion on it b:victory

personally, i both hate it and love it. it keeps main-world 3-dimension pvp, which is one of the great features of this game's pvp. on the flip side, it entirely removes the principle of the "fortress" that you spawn in at the start of TW

    I like it, it makes TW more realistic and a bit more involved than if you could only be on the ground.

    Also, for PvE some players only have PvP experience in TW, so the flying PvP is something they wouldn't be able to experience otherwise. b:surrender

    Flight adds a nice 3d sense to the game. No flying in TW would be like this.

    I think its nice you can fly in there. I mean, the game concept allows flying, so why shouldnt we fly in a warzone? It would also be sweet if each base had like a kind of flak gun that shoots bolts so you could shoot down the invaders that come from the air. Would be pretty fun.

    I think flying is one of the best things you can add to an mmo. Makes it easy to get around but not as fast as ground mounts.

    The whole point of the castle walls in the TWs is to keep out the catapults not to keep out soilders.

    Flying also makes TW more interesting because it adds more tactics to the fight.

    EX: Catapults are going on land while soilders are fighting trying to kill it on land. Clerics are in air to avoid damage being delt by soilders on land so soilders need to fly to kill clerics. Thus adding more tactics and less Spray and Pray.

    It used to be that one couldnt fly in TW.

    Then they added flying to TW.
    Shortly after Pheonix's were released.
    PWE made oodles off Battle Pack sales for "must have nix" TW Venos.
    I see a corelation there.

    I'd rather be able to fly higher, hitting the ceiling and stopping is kinda annoying.

    good point about the catapults. i can't really speak much on them however, as i've never been a catapuller

    I would say it is fine but causes some imbalances depending on what fly mount you have.I would say fighting on the ground is a more balanced.

    When there was no flying in tw it was harder to penetrate a base. Yes, you could send people to jump on the walls but that usually took some time now u can send whole teams over the walls or on them np to take out the players scurrying below. Air teams are just more maneuverable since you dont have to walk through that rather cramped gate just to get aoe stunned and ulti'd to death. Personally, i like it the way it is now.

    guys u smoke some serious **** if u think not flying in TW is a good idea.
    Why not held the TW in SP then, so you just have a 2 dimension fight.

    Wars are carried in both air and ground ( and water ofc) and we still have/build fortifications for war purposes. The fort in TW is quite nice actually, and defending on the walls/behind the walls is actually nice. So are the air fights. U don't need a 12m/sec air mount, cause you're not RAMBO to chase ppl on the map. If u do that, you're playing the wrong game.

    If pple have diff. mounts and the speed is not fair? thats fine. I have no problem with just running and walking in TW....... AS LONG AS THEY KEEP THOSE SPEEDS EQUAL AND FAIR TOO. (aka everyone run and walk same speed)
