    This is my Genie

    Longevity lvl75 (36/70 LP)
    mag - 40
    vit - 5
    str - 5
dex - 5x (whatever is left over)

    skills:
    Holy Path lvl10
    Extreme poison lvl10
    Second wind lvl10

Holy path is exremely useful. It lets you catch up to the tank (who ran in forgetting you are slow), helps when the squad decides to run a passage (again cus you are SLOW), lets you pull bosses away so ppl can res (do it for stupid tanks with drum boss, squad freaks out "How did you not die?"), and helps you escape from angry mobs that are gonna kill you. Overall, awesome (wish it still had the aoe effect, but oh well). -dex based skill

Extreme poison - normally found on a dd's genie, but I have it so I spend less time when I solo bosses (my own or guildies). -dex based skill

Second wind - One of my many OS buttons. Instant heal for 800, and each point of str increases heal by 2%. might replace with tree of protection at some point, but for now this works just fine. -str based skill

This is just my genie, don't know if its the best, but it does quite well for me.

-adaptation of one of the many quotes I love

Favorite opening line when entering a squad:
"Hi. So, am I the tank?"

BMs are probably my favorite dds around. They aren't squishy, usually respect and protect the cleric, and in spite of the seemingly constant suicidal impulses, don't get me killed very often.

I recently changed to a Zeal genie for the single mob pull, and I trained holy path on it and will train tree of protection soon when the points allow it. But I think the use of my genie for now is purely for PvE purposes. I might need another genie for PvP.

    @Nosgoth
The stat depends on the skills you want. Holy path and extreme poison (and Tree of protection I believe) all benefit from a high dex stat. Second wind and most damaging skills benefit from a high str stat. Mag increases the regen rate of your genie's energy, and vit increases the max energy it has.

Ah, i would like for my genie skills the buff ones, like holy path and wind shield.
So, dex will be better for me.
    Thx Jetue.

I am in love with Disciplines. They aren't good looking at final stages but initial skill is just what i need. My one is a 56 80, with 80dex, 30mag, 15vit, 3str.
As skills i have holypath and extreme poison (which are a must imo), plus fortify (immunity to stun, very useful in pvp) and thudnerstorm (also this one much useful against HA classes in pvp; thinking about forgetting it to get a bleed immunity sill) plus the initial skill, which actually increases my flying speed by 58% for 6,5 seconds.

DEX improves those skills duration (and for thunderstorm the power), while MAG is always useful in order to have a fast energy recovery (imo MAG is an undervaluted stat; it's just great in order to spam skills).

The choice of the genie anyways is to be done under the choice of the skills you need; if you see that the sills you need are DEX based, make a longevity, which has an high dex initial value. And so on.

I like Zeal, mostly for the option of luring with Earthflame -- another because I like the look. Mine is lvl 82, 64/80 LP (took me about 20-30 genies to get this one and I used all SP from my veno), and 50+ dex, 50+ mag, 50+ vit. I lubs it.

At every 10th level, genies gain Lucky Points. The amount you get is random each level (between 1 and 10). The first number is how many points it got and the second number is how many it could have received up to that point. The amount of points it has determines how it changes its look. See this page for each evolution.

For those skills you will need to have 2 Metal, 4 Wood, 2 Earth, 1 Water, and 7 Fire. Remember that genies gain 1 attribute point every 5 levels, so you won't be able to get this set up until your genie is level 80.
