So I imagine I'm going to set myself up as a giant flaming target but I can't say I care.

I would like to thank PWE for at least putting forth the effort to try and control the Coin vs Gold ratio that seems to be going out of control lately. I am talking about the JJ event where you can trade either a guardian scroll (30 silver) or 100k in game. As anyone who takes a second to think about it can see, this was supposed to equate to 1 gold ~ 335k. Yes this is still higher than the Perfect hammer for 4 gold opening a 1 mil box (1 gold = 250k), but if we're honest we'd all realize nobody would accept that much of a drop that quick. (Net being spotty, correct me on those gold prices if I miss-quoted them)

I will say that the timing could have been a little better, like waiting until after the packs were gone from the boutique. Still, I respect the fact that at least some action was attempted instead of just letting prices run rampant.

So yes, I know that there are many who will disagree with me on this. I would ask that they be civil however, and keep their immediate "haha, stupid/fail noob" messages to themselves. Have to remember that there are people who just might disagree with your sheltered view of the world. b:bye

Frankly, JJ did almost nothing this time around. Mostly because the packs sucked, and wasn't worth the coin or GAs.

Jolly Jones as a coin sink was at best an accident. There is no intention to "fix" the economy. At worst, it is a way to appear as if they care. And at super worst, they even purposly made a "mistake" with the pirate outfit price to try and counter any effect JJ might have had.
