I don't Pk but PKK b:chuckle, experience with PvP if you have really good timing and pretty decent gears you will do pretty good especially when using Plume Shell and IH. I **** most Archers, Clerics, Veno's *No Nix*, and Axe BM's about 5 lvls higher than I.

No. Deceptistar's saying that the earlier you start PKing, the more experienced in the art of PvP you're going to become. IIRC PKing only makes you rich...if and when you pop a great big red named pinata that somehow didn't guard his stuff. I'm a carebear, so I dunno for sure though. XD

As for the quitting part...EXP per level required goes absolutely insane after 90, or so the pics I've seen would lead one to believe. X_X

I'm on my alt at the mo & to get to 91 he needs ~11.7 mil exp.

It takes about a week to lvl without any delta & frost.

Getting to 96 is much more of a pain.... =_= I understand why a lot of people might drop.

Terribly wrong. Veno will use bramble hood, which will make him immortal until sleep will run out. Sleep veno and spank Nix (if you can spark are like 3 hits generally, if not less; to survive is sufficient a decently timed purify and some stacked heals/genie skills to remove bleed effect). Then kill veno, or try to do it. This way, even if you will lose the pvp, at least the veno will QQ cause you killed his nix (making its loyalty decrease or some **** like that). And i can grant that this is the best (and for me actually the only suitable) way to kill a Nix... errr a nixed veno (yeah, nix is the class imo).

The other way is much more fun but not always viable. If you are on hills or flying on hills, run up to the top of the hill. Nixies (and all flying pets) get stuck on 90% times they try to climb b:victory (i hope this is not bugabusing... well i could do it like only twice or so b:shocked).

Didn't think about that. Thanks for that tip. b:victory

BTW, I may sound rude, but I wouldn't give a rat's **** if someone is bug abusing that flying pet climb thing, as their stupid phoenixs' are bugged to do much more damage than they should be able to. It's stupid and retar ded on the dev's part to not fix it, on both ends.

And I love to kill veno's pets. Their QQ'ing about losing loyalty/etc about that almost makes up for the times when I've been uber ganked by 9x venos' nixs'.

But unfortunately, it's just so easy to. :(

And since I forgot to address the OP, I've had mixed reactions towards PvP with my Cleric. I suppose it all depends on if you can be on the same playing field as other players. If the other player has the jump on you, in my experiences, 70% of the time you will die. There are always other circumstances in which you will be able to pull off something great, and kill/divert them, but unless you see them coming, it's sometimes an uphill battle.

But it is oh so satisfying killing people with the healing class. :D

    Yay Nix QQ Thread

To be honest i was just explained what is the best strategy against Nixies in my opinion.

No it's not: since you need to cashshop several hundred dollars in order to get a Nix (even if you buy ingame feathers, anyone cashshopped for them) if Nix would be just a little more powerful than a sawfly (i.e. just the slightly increased attack/defense), they would lose a crapload of money, since all non-cashshoppers would just use a sawfly.

    Obviously Business > Sane Gameplay

Can you remind me that Genie's skill name?

Obviously you need sleep maxed or so (when it reaches 30sec max duration, generally it lasts AT LEAST 10 seconds. That is enough to kill a Nix if you at least can afford extreme poison or just a single spark). Anyways, Sawflies are 2-shots, so also few-seconds sleep is enough, if you are fast to switch target and skill. (wield thunder + cyclone).

A last important tip, always take the time to check Veno's armor. Between all the magic classes are the ones that more often go LA. If you feel your sleep is longlasting and you are fast in mouse-clicking, when u sleep give a click on "charachter info". This will make you able to know which skill to use (this obviously is necessary only against those venos that are wearing fashions).

Clerics are awesome at PK'ing, my only suggestion is that you be prepared for every class.

Unless you can get very good gear(not worth it until 90+), you'll have huge problems with any physical classes, venos included since their pets are physical for the most part.

BMs can potentially 1 shot you, Archers will more than likely do so as well, barbs for sure. Until you can figure out how to balance your HP and pdef to avoid such scenarios, it'll be tough unless you're in a group.
