gold vs CS items

just noticed cs items like aerogear sells cheaper in wc than by buying gold.
gold being at 500k-ish why isnt the 30gold wings selling for 150.000.000 coins?

    A straight conversion only works if it's a limited item. You have to factor in availablity - if there are several for sale, the price is going to be less than the value of the gold.

    Those items remain in game, traded between players. Their supply never diminishes (except for the occasional quitters who *don't* give their stuff away) and so price drops consistently. Things like charms are consumed as they're used so their price is more directly tied to the price of gold.
