Another Question about Vitality

Most thread's I've read about the pure build, 1 Str 4 Dex per lvl and Hybrid build, 1 Vit 1 Str and 3 Dex say that the Pure is the best way to go.

Im now lvl 44 and have around 1.3k HP using the pure build.

I thought about adding Vit but most threads say "You dont need to add vitality because of HP shards in you gear" But they are talking about high level gear, and I know when Im high level I will not be able to afford the gear(let alone the shards). The only shards I can afford are average ones.

Grinding for an hour get's me about 100k but after repairs and buying arrows etc only have about 80k left.

So my question is:
When I reach a high level I'll be poor, even without buying the high level gear and shards, should I still put no points into vitality?

Sorry for the noob question, I just dont want to end up with 2.1k HP a level 90 lol.

All help is appreciated b:thanks

I'm sorry to answer with another question, but how do you know?

If you're referreing to TT armor, that's something you either buy (and yes it's kinda expensive), or work for... and it's not all that hard to gather a couple of materials from bosses, you'll find people willing to go anytime.

Besides, you're saying yourself than you gain money by grinding... if you were in the negative I would understand your question but here I just don't get it. You'll be getting more and more as mobs become higher level and drop better stuff.

Sorry but I don't really see this as a question about vitality o.O

you have no need for vit man, you get a nice hp bonus per level. stick to a frost arrow->knockback combo, and use the most basic arrows, and you should have very minimal repair fees. in your 60s in swamp of the wraiths, youll find leveling a few hours yields a ton of money. youll definitely have enough for decent gear at higher levels. besides, average joe sniper at 90 has like 4k hp :P.

Archers actually have very few money issues. Just make sure you only ever buy the cheapest ammo, the upper-level stuff isn't worth it for PvE.

Also, you can do just fine in PvE without much in the way of defense or HP. You should rarely, if ever, get hit by the time you get to the 50s or so.

PvE you dont really need any kind of investment whatsoever. I myself run around with poorly sharded gear (3.2k hp atm and considerably low def/res) and i run TT/FF runs without any problem.
In terms of PvP, of course you need high investment, but thats for any class. Saying you wont play a class cuz its expensive for pvp is plain out ignorance. You wont succeed in any class if you dont work for your gear (or in cash shopper's case, swipe that credit card). Choice of class should be based purely on style of play. Game coins you get within time.

About vit build, i know of at least 1 archer with considerable amount of vit and im told me **** in TW. Granted he has broken his credit card for furiously swiping it, but the concept is still valid since most of the enemies he encounters have done so aswell.
In other words, working vit in your build can be useful.

ouch :[, do you not refine/put higher than avg gems in your armor? do you use a sky demon also?

How many players have you actually seen with +12 gear?

theres a few +10-12 gear owners on sanc, with those gears loaded with citrine gems and primeval stones.

yes they can take down a small army themselves, but does that mean they know their class/have a good build? no it does not.

it means they have a fat wallet, and that allows them to have an edge on average joe. it doesnt make their build 'viable' at all :P

A Pure Dex archer can get by with only +1 Refinement and Avg Citrine Shards, at level 80. Some level 90+ archer claimed she did this, but unfortunately I do not recall exactly who.

At high levels, you can reasonable refine to +2 or +3 without using Dragon Orbs. It may take a few Mirages, but you should be fine.

The game gets easier for Archers at 60+ b/c most monsters have ranged attacks.
