but what the deal with FS/FA
playing a BM i got 6 skill trees, and iam lvling all of them.
each tree got its own benefits and cons but combined they work wonders.

now clerics got 5 skill trees. physical attacks, debuffs, metal attacks, buffs and heals.

buffs: are essential for every cleric so this 1 is gonna get lvled anyway.

heals: O M F G you can ****ing heal!! you are a god damn cleric! your role is too keep everyone alive and not act like a wizzy and get killed in 2shots.
a cleric not lvling these is just stupid since these are the reasons you get invited to squads.

physical attacks: you only got 2, and 1 of them is a freaking AOE. use these to attack AA and increased magic mobs. and the fun part is, hold on, YOU NEED ATTACKS TO KILLb:angry (unless you are doing this http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=494842 in wich case you are still gonna use skills)
i know that theres 5 mag attacks but u wont get your first before lvl6 and do you really wanna kite from lvl 6-60?

magic attacks: holy ****! not only can you hurt AA but also HA (LA is not mentioned since it get owned by everything)
and since there is only 3 skills to max there isnt any reason to leave them at random lvls.

debuffs: well these can stay a few lvls behind , BUT holy **** spamming debuffs in a TT and tempesting from time to time is prob:victory
sleep and paralize can be used to safe lifes.



WANT TO SAY: lvling a buff/ heal = no more FA
lvling a attack = no more FS
so does the term actually exist or are clerics condemn to discuss this in all eternity to make our post count growb:victory i meanb:surrender

    u r one sad little man, u have no concept of a cleric at all. and "LA gets owned by all" is just fail.

    i take it ur a pure cleric, u brag about having the best heals and highest dmg as ur laying there on the ground dead cause u couldn't handle the phys aoe, whil im BBing keeping from a party wipe.b:bye

    U should probably give him a break, afterall he is only lvl 49. Pure mag is pretty much the best build til 60, then most ppl add some vit or go LA. At 90 if you have amazing gear you can go back to full mag if you like. Just calm down a bit. :P

    As far is the OP question(s), i have no idea why people wouldn't want to lvl their skills. Not one person I have EVER partied with has complained about the lack of lvled up skills (they can't now cause they are all at like 10 or 11 :) and I leveled attack and support skills in unison with eachother.

    iam vit build and i hate blue colours...
    and the part about LA is because they got medicore defense (normal with buffs >.<)

    No, Bob, it isn't.

    Honestly, LA Clerics are worse than LA mages.

    Please, Go Int. Your job is to heal and occasionally hit targets, The less M atk you have, the less Damage do you deal.

    also, you can't in ANY way "crit heal"

    im considering going full mag in my 90s and getting rid of vit. Havent made up my mind. I'd be tossing 600 hp or so away for some damage. Id have to calculate how much damage I'd be adding.

    I'm a relatively new player, I have 1 job, cleric, lvl 61. I am a 40 str and the rest Magic.

    Should I be putting in VIT at this point?

    I know that there are lots of thoughts on this, and I waffle in my decision to go full magic daily. 60 to 90 will be slow for me, knowing how I play, so I am starting to think that VIT is required.

    Am I wrong?

    This term only exists as long as narrow minded pple try to push the idea that "xxx class MUST play their role JUST LIKE THIS"
    Stubborn narrow minded pple threw the cleric players the concept that its a job only to heal others and wipe their asses. Stubborn narrow minded clerics did not like the idea, thus gave birth to things such as FAC/FA. Smart pple/other classes actually know that clerics are quite versatile, and depending on how good you are surviving and keeping others alive, they will not mind the least if you are LA/arcane/FS/FA or hell with lv1 starter gear.
