Gaint box around Plume Teleport master

Hello, I teleported from the Dreaming Stronghold to Plume. And when I got there, there was this giant wooden crate around the teleporter. It trapped me and others inside. After a bit, it vanished, and we were free.

Doas anyone know what it is, and why it was there?
