    i admit i am the pits when it comes to coping with money...i can spend it, but have to leave all RL money handling/budgeting to my husband. but i truly dont understand how this event is supposed to balance things, when all it does is a 'more of the same', putting more rare items out like the anni packs.

    yeah but people selling stuff to other people is transferring coins from one player to another, it's not flat out injecting coins into the system like super lucky tokens or whatever those were called.

    If enough people used the coin option it may have a small effect, but of course we can't count on everyone to spend their excess coins b:chuckle

    why pple would want to buy these packs is beyond me. At least for pple who are lv75+. These packs are mostly lower lvl friendly events. Only decent thing are the mounts, which you can most likely BUY for a cheaper price than what you spent opening.

    Because everyone is thinking that after the Anniversary Packs, the other event packs also have to contain mad epic items. Or then it's just because it has "Jolly Jones" in it, which makes people think "event food, shards".

    Yeah.

    I, personally, have no interest in the boxes at all. Especially since I already have extra mold stuff I keep specifically for passing to new chars when I make them.

    The mounts and aeros are a nice incentive, sure, but their chances are low and with how common they'll be thanks to others spending their coin on them, it's easier for those who don't like relying on their luck to simply buy those directly.

    In case you don't remember, the Anniversary Box contains rare items, as well as tokens that allow you to choose which rewards you want. Turn in these tokens at any PW Boutique Agent under the "Gift Exchange" option.

    This box will be on sale from October 13th at 1:00am Server Time until November!

    It will drain compulsive gamblers coins really fast, and it will drain low level players coin fast. For high level players, that do not have a gambling problem, it will have no effect. There is nothing good on those packs worth spending alot of money. IF they really want one of the new mounts, most will be able to simply buy one.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.
