An idea for the new lands

With the upcoming expansion there will be 4 new TW lands to take (below DWP). My suggestion is that the current TW factions leave those 4 lands for lowbie factions interested in TW.
















(noone will follow this, just trynna make other **** to talk about besides flames and egos.)

    Interesting Idea.. I would imagine that in the first week those 4 lands will all have different owners... Then each week after that the main factions will take them like candies from a baby.

    It would be nice if they gave a place for other factions to "play" around but honestly greed is greater than nice in every instance with the main factions that I have seen.

    Actually there is a good chance it will happen IF and only IF KD and KY keep fighting each other.. But there is a chance that they can take a "break" from attacking each other to get some easy PVE land.

    Knowing KD if they arent blocked from DWP b4 the expansion, they will most definitely go for the easy PvE land.

    I have a better idea.

    Reset the whole TW map because fighting the same guild over and over again is stupid. Give some of the little guilds some money for a while, hell you need to own 6 lands to even afford a charm a week on this stupid server.

    I bet that those lands will be left to other guilds to tw over, and I wonder if they will be all lvl 3 lands?

    And ugh...this QQing on harshlands being fail is getting soooo Old, just leave if you dont like it

    actually only kd has access to new lands due to there location near dwp... so either they decide to get free lands or attack usb:chuckle.. but as we know how kd got their lands the answer is simple... sorry small factionsb:laugh

    resetting it every 3 month + adding a 2nd attack tw per week would be nice. but that'd require lower gold prices to afford - which will never happen

    i would love to see a solution which makes more people involved in TW

    and i mean people who actually deserve playing TWs, not anyone

    and dont say to disband KY/KD. the current winners are winners for a reason, and got it by hard work in way or an other. why would they give it up.

    Would b fun to see small factions hav their lil territory wars but thats not how the game works, what you want is more factions to b able to compete against the strongest factions nd for that one thing is crucial, time... Most of the high lvl ppl play this server for a good while thats why they are able to take over lands on the map so the new players also need to work hard nd make the map more competitive.

    There are several ways to make it better.

    1) Level cap of 90
    2) Vary gear so that every single person in the game doesn't have the same everything
    3) Get rid of charms
    4) Lower pvp damage to half of what it already is
    5) Remove phoenixes
    6) Make TW's 40 or 50 person limit instead of 80
    7) Either these events need to go away, or the gear they are giving away needs to be attainable through another way
    8) The TW map needs to be reset after a certain amount of time

    This would accomplish the following things:
    1) People would be on an even playing field level wise. People with no lives could not be better than everyone else simply because they play longer.
    2) Variety makes things unpredictable. Right now you know what every single player has, what all their strengths and weaknesses are, and exactly what they are going to do. It's incredibly boring.
    3) PvP is too quick it's stupid. Most fights end in 3 seconds or less. If you don't have a charm you are worthless. There is almost no point to a cleric because charms work better than clerics ever can, and people can easily out damage a cleric's heals.
    4) People would pick their best skilled players, instead of the 80 highest levels
    5) Guilds who are just forming will get a chance to own land
    6) It will get rid of the whole "everyone on the server will eventually join one of the same 3 guilds" mentality

    I agree although for charms to disapear they should reduce pots cooldown

    Keep dreaming. Its a f2p, most of the stuff you listed there comes with the territory. Also, people with no lives are always going to dominate an MMO. Dont like it? Go play a FPS or a game like DoTA, HoN etc.




    Anyways, regardless of what happens to the new lands, i think when the expansion comes we should all reroll alts and immerse ourselves in lowbie pvp again. Maybe have a competition to see who can make the best 20 or 30 man factions :o

    making TW player limit lower, and the amount of attacks at the same time higher sounds fun

    i like the idea of lowering pvp dmg and removing charms. would need to rebalance the whole game thou

    First off, I'm all for people with no lives being able to be a higher level, and being able to have better gear, because they worked for it. They spent the time, they earned it. Here's the thing though. In most games...if you absolutely suck at the game, it doesn't matter if you have the best possible gear, you still suck. Or better yet...make the gear not attainable to people that suck. WoW sorta did that, they made some of the bosses really hard, so not everyone could do it. The problems came in when they had a patch that made all the bosses really simple. At that point there's no motivation to learn your class. That's how it is in this game.

    I agree though, this would take some major rebalancing of the whole game, and trust me, I don't have any false hope of that ever happening. Not when they can just make some sort of sale that quadruples their money, even if it ruins the game.

    too bad no lifers dont have any edges on this game, they dont dominate anything, only people who waste their money on the free game do


    as for a game that requires skill, in mmos there will always be a class thats generally better than others, or atleast easier to play for the same good result (read 0 effort to be good) and since most people in general both in games and life always goes for the easy way out, that class will always be overplayed and thus will fk things up, people like us who actually likes to be a class thats not as easy as the other classes have to work harder, the problem in this game is theres no reward for such a thing as the noobs can CS and be unkillable/kill anything anyway, thats why even though this game IS balanced (if you removed venos) everyone plays a dam veno, thats why even though everything is more balanced on private servers, the EA is the cookie cutter class to be good with 0 effort, literally 90% of the PKers are EAs
    you cant always blame the game, sometimes its just the people, same goes with TW, great potential, could be awesome, even though making it max 30v30 would fix it the fact remains everyone joins the easy way out and join the red faction, making it unstoppable and ultimately ruins the gameplay for both others and themselves, so all im saying is, sometimes it isnt the game but the people playng it (comunity that sucks) or how its run (anni packs for 2 months to make a quick buck) that is all :)
