increased XP because of gems?

Alright idk how to say it ...

Someone in my faction keeps claiming for weeks now that doing elemental damage to a mob increases the XP when you have gems inserted.
However I simply can't imagine it's true. I don't see any differenes in using elemental or physical dmg against mobs, no matter what weapon I use...
The only difference, and I told him so (no he's not new he's been playing for many month, btw he is BM 38 I have no idea how he does elemental dmg), is when you kill a special upgraded mob like increased damage you get about doubled XP.

So does anybody here have reliable information wether you get more XP by inserting elementar gems into your weapons, or not? It seemed kinda unfair to me if that was true.

Sorry for any confusion might caused, but I promised to make this thread so we finally know the truth (or as I said: Stop spreading rumors m8,)

    i dont know but it doesnt seem likely elemental gems on a melee wep does increase damage but definatly not exp and playing for many months lol lvl 38
    that definatly not many months if hes active unless its alt he plays you have been tricked im for 90% sure as it seems like the biggest joke ever to me
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    There are no gems that increase xp given. However, there is existing equipment that gives a bonus to experience.

    Your friend/factionmate is wrong. Tell him to quit being bad at the game- where these noobs get these rediculous ideas is totally beyond me...

    "Crazy stone" can increase experience and spirit. This is known to all.

    Some of players increase their level in this way.

    This is one per day quest.

    P.S.
    "doing elemental damage to a mob increases the XP when you have gems inserted" like weather in Perfect World by 0 points of experience.
