Crazy map

So I have a huge widescreen laptop and i have the screen set to the max at 1366 x 768, and when i open up the map display, the top part from about the top of etherblade city on up is cut off. is this because of the screen resolution, or because of my pc size or what?

    its because you play in widescreen resolution. for some reason, the dev's decided not to fully implement widescreen support when it comes to the map. using a standard 4:3 type resolution in windowed mode will allow you to see the full map, though not the "ideal" solution from a player perspective. hopefully one day they will adress this.
