i have a barb friend who is 7+ lvls higher what is a good weapon/way to even the odds when we dual?

    odds wont be too high until you have gotten ur stun skills. Most effective way to win a barb is to stun lock him

    alternatively if you were playing a genie enabled duel, use thunderstorm(genie, 7fire attributes) in between ur skills - the finisher move skill against Heavy classes as thunderstorm deals metal magic damage, double when on ground and triple again when near ranged.

    At that level, you really don't worry about stun locks. People haven't refined their gear, and sharding has a ceiling due to eq lvl. Roar when you're getting them down, and try to finish before they can unstun and run. You don't have enough genie level for T storm, so go for Tangling Mire to add some damage. You pretty much don't have many weapon options open yet, you'll have to base it off of what weapons you can have, more than what you'd want. Until lvl 60, you really are at the mercy of luck and AH.

    Increase your dexterity stat, because his accuracy sucks. Even if he has more hp than you, you can wear him down faster by having him miss you a few times.

    Use any stun moves you can, and remember that sutra is your friend.

    i agree with kniraven

    dex = death to all barbs/axe bms

    best weapon would obviously be fists or blades due to the high atk speed meaning you can save mp for stuff that matters like sutra,ultimates,stuns

    btw if you got thunder storm chain it together with the axe ultimate, heavens flame. this is because of the awsome dmg increase HF gives combined with the already awsome dmg of thunder storm....

    AND if you have high dex then he'll be tempted to use blood bath which will decrease his hp giving you more of an advantage....

    btw will of the bodhistava+maxed phys marrows = 15 seconds of the closest you'll get to invincibility due to the fact that he cant stun you,he'll barely hit you and if he does he'll do some pretty **** dmg....BMS FTWb:victory b:victory b:victory b:victory

    lol BB only takes of 1 or 2 k of their 10-15k hp at my level and gives them ungodly ac bounuses

    and yes fists are the best antibarb/bm weapon i know of but because of their high dps(fists) rediculous spike damage(swords)

    at the posters lvl though he dosent have acess to any of the good weapon path skills aside from drakes bash and peircing winds

    Yeah guys he is kinda lowbie. He can't even use thunderstorm yet b:chuckle
    Definitely just raise your dex and max your stuns b:victory He isn't level 77 so he can't make up for his **** dex with mistys.
