Cleric Mdef Party Buff

Hey, just noticed this lately. If its been mentioned in here already then feel free to smack me with a wet salmon.
I have been using the Aegis Spirit (party mdef buff) since I got and and I've noticed that it does not last the hour it says it does. Either that or Greater Protective Aura is lasting way longer than an hour. Will cast these two right after each other and Aegis Spirit expires long before Protective Aura.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I just the unlucky person to deal with it?

Aegis Spirit properly lasts for an hour. There is, however, an issue in which it does not overwrite Magic Shell or renew its own duration, giving the appearance that it is lasting for less time than it is. Casting Aegis Spirit when you have no buffs on you should result in it lasting for the correct amount of time.==/Senior QA Lead/==

Ok, that explains it. Have been noticing issues with Magic Shell not liking to be overwritten (even by itself). Thanks for the info.Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

I just dont see how this hasn't been fixed yet, its been a bugged skill since the start of pwi. Its extremely annoying in BH/TT when you get to some last boss's, the whole squad rebuffs, and a few minutes later this buff wears off.
Edit: a little off topic, but ill post anyways: Wield Thunder is another skill with a bug for clerics.
But, its only a bug for male clerics it seems, and only when you cast it on the ground. The animation is wrong, the "coned" lightning effect that sprouts from your weapon before the cast does not work while standing on the ground for male clerics. It works in the air and in water, but for some reason male clerics' arms move slow when they stand.0
