Well hi ever1! As u see DemonDeer`s the name ;)

I was always wondering why Hay , Meat and so on are so damn expensive, when there are mobs that drop it fairly good!

Then a conclusion came 2 my mind: Maybe some ppl just don`t know the "trick" of getting 50 Meat/Hay a day 4 free. Well it`s rly fairly easy!
U make a Twink (From my experience a veno suits best), bring it up 2 lvl 17, (Catch a turtle near Broken Bridge Village and lvl it!). Grind the turtles near broken Bridge 2 do so. (I know, that takes some time, but there IS a reason;) ) Believe it or not, but if u do so (stating on lvl 7 or 8) u`ll have about 30-40 Hay when u reach 17!
Then bring it 2 Silverpool and go into the lake located directly behind the blacksmith! Grind the tortoises there, and

    hay: http://www.pwdatabase.com/items/9757

level 30 mobs have a much better drop rate of hay than the level 8 turtles do. I grinded on antelope pups for them and got em in about 1 hour.

    meat: http://www.pwdatabase.com/items/9760

again, level 30 plus mobs have a much better drop rate than the lower mobs do.

reason why people prefer to buy it than farm it? lazy, impatient, don't know about pwdatabase.com/pwi - any other reason, you name it. a veno doesnt really need to have more than two pet slots till around 30 anyhow, since you wont be flying till then. 1 water (catch one at the level you get water quests - not enough water fights to justify leveling a lvl 5 turtle), 2 land (puller/tanker), 1 air (petite sawfly ftw - unless you go for the nix). any other class only needs 1 pet slot (or none) - your mount if you want one. baby pets are useless and only for looks, so go figure.

This really depends on your server...On DW, I've seen it run at around 5.5k, but the last time I looked to buy was before the recent economic explosion, so I've got no clue as to now.
I shall dominate the Dreamweaver server through the use of Baked goods...and only baked goods.^^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Venomancers are Female. Barbarians are male. It will forever be this way. So suck it up and deal with it already.

Another reason is, by the time you get to the stage where you need Hay (there IS one such instance, at least), nothing even remotely resembling your level drops it anymore, and if you didn't hunt them earlier on, it's nigh impossible to get anymore.

Plus, it's legendary pet food, which makes it extra desirable, especially if you use them in high risk situations...

That stupid stupid quest that needs a huge pile of hay WAY after you can't farm it any more?

For feeding the legendary pets, it's far easier to get the upgraded stuff, fine-meat, venison, ginger etc. which do drop at later levels.

Still, if you need food in a hurry, the auction house is a pretty good option.

there is a 7x quest that requires 50 hay. i dont remember the exact lvl you get it at (a little backed up on quests atm), but I am now lvl75 and in need of 50 hay, gonna be fun gettin it all.

"Hi. So, am I the tank?"

BMs are probably my favorite dds around. They aren't squishy, usually respect and protect the cleric, and in spite of the seemingly constant suicidal impulses, don't get me killed very often.
