How many people play PWI?

So I have always wondered how many people play Perfect World? I'm guessing at least a few million but I have no idea. Is there a place where I can find out how many players there are? Or does anybody know?
Thanks!
Thanks!

OMG, that was brilliant
I wonder if you can put that into a macro, so you get to grind and open packages at the same time....

The funny thing is that in a few months, when most people are 100+, Lunar will no longer be end-game.
Also, Lunar can be farmed, and sooner or later, you will see people farming lunar like they do TT now.
There is only 1 type of reward from the AnyPacks that can be seen as out of place, and I mean totaly out of place, when you look at it from the game perspective.
If you have not figured it out yet, than think about all the items on the packs, which one is out of place, compared to all the others. <hint: they are not "that" expensive, if you compare them to what it would cost to obtain otherwise.>

nope. Let me give you a another hint. It would have taken 42 days of 24/7 doing nothing but that (not even leveling) and it would had costed 4.3billion coins, assuming you get the stuff at the NPC.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. I would say rep... since should never be able to buy it, even from AH ( tags should be non tradeble imo )

You are wrong as well. According to some else's calculations, if you were to trade all the chips you need for the frags to make a warsoul weapon, the mysterious trader dude's fees alone would surpase 32 billion coins. That is on top of the cost the chip themselves, etc. So the packs actualy do not imbalance it that much, since the even with the packs, it will still cost a fortune. I recon with the packs you will be able to save about 30% to 50% only. This pales when you look at the: <drum roll>
The level 12 shards.
A level 12 shard takes over a month non-stop to combine and it will cost 4.3billion coins to buy enough shards at the NPC to make ONE.
So, to get your all gear with 4 sockets (weapon with 2), and use level 12 shards on all of them, it would cost more than to make a warsoul weapon, if you were to make them yourself. Due to the packs, you can do that for around 350million instead of the 88.6billion and 22 months of combining it would take otherwise.
If you look at the chances of getting one, they are much higher than to get a frost weapon or a lunar weapon, which, in no way, are as hard to get, since there were already a couple of people that had them before the packs came out.

There are other more detailed, but I used that one.

because most of us came here to play, not shop at PWI's WalMart extravaganzas.
when the game started, events *were* events, and fun things to do. they didnt call the installing of new things to buy in the CS an event back then. but now, there are never any fun things set up for us to do, with prizes for *everyone* to earn, as the Christmas event did. just a constant flow of sales pitches, that the players who have RL money to throw around use to make themselves richer and more powerful, and the new players cant use any of them. even the recent mount sale...most newer players didnt have a chance at those, unless they had a lot of RL money, because the mounts were for levels too high for them, cost too much, and would be even more expensive with the addition of spurs to bring them to a level they could ride.
...so players who loved the game as it used to be left. those who are still here have various reasons-mine is that no other game is as beautiful as this, and has PVE. i've looked over others, but i wont play game

i LOVE this quote! its utterly perfect!!!
