    I wouldn't recommend LA. PvP aside, you'll be fighting in melee range in PvE and taking melee hits 95% of the time. For the mobs that do cast magic at you outside of melee range, you can start with Roar or Shadowless. LA would also making tanking bosses much harder, which you would be expected to do since there won't always be a Barb around. The only pure magic boss that does not melee that I can think of is last boss in FB39.

    cause obviously range 5 is melee range and monsters will kindly stop spell casting at range 5.

    range 5 is good for arcane and light armor.

    You are giving up the ability to AoE pure physical mobs while in return you get to fight mobs at their magic range...

    There's also the factor that LA gives less HP per refine than HA.

    dude, your promoting axe in a polearm thread. this isnt a discussion about axes being better than polearm.

    Err no? I didn't mention axes. You can AoE with pole.

    It's fine to have both HA and LA sets, but from the sound of it, the person I replied to was talking about just having LA.

    Dragonlance is defense orientated better for PvE, while Ifrit of Wrath and Sawbone Javelin is offense orientated and better for PvP. Really depends on what you are looking for,

    thing is, get a copy of dragonlance none the less. not for now, but when u reach 99. when u keep upgrading it, eventually, u get matriarch spear. matriarch is probably one of the best pvp spears, its got +10% accuracy and soul shatter. soul shatter removes all positive buffs from target.

    They are both "HH". Sawbone is green and Ifrit is gold.

    for pvp, spears pike, polearms etc are better than sword cause of glacial spike, however, magebane is good for those pesky mages, however, u have stuns, however, uve got interrupts in fist, however...

    Go demonPoleblade Metorush and GlacialSpike FTW and the purge pole is a must for any pole/spear BM BTW whos gunna get nirvana pole first wounder if itas gunna be meb:laugh

    I pity anyone that doesn't combine spears with axes, at least. And lol if you make a nirvana spear, that would be incredibly stupid.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    Can you tell me your build when i saw your video on youtube i thought this is what im looking for and wanted to play a pure PVP demon polearm BM and i have found no builds or skill guids anywere
