I would like to know what is the difference between the cat and the cow stores. Also I would like to know what kind of item are better suited to be bought or sell on cat or cow stores instead of the auction house. Do the cat store remain on game after I log out? One final question since there are soooooooo many cat stores I wonder if players actually take their time browsing those stores.

    Cat = free

    Cow = 5 Gold

    AH all depends....usually items higher priced or more rare.

    People DO look in the shops.

    The Cow Shops have more empty spaces and to make one you need to buy a special item from the Boutique.

Emerging from this darkness takes more then courage, it takes faith in ones own mind and more importantly in ones own heart. To deny the light is to deny yourself the feeling of true happiness and true peace within your own soul. Denying your own happiness and your own soul is denying all that one has to live for."

    DQ items and crafting materials are the best things to sell in catshops.... there's plenty of other items you can sell in catshops that will earn your coin as well, but DQ/mats sell the most often, because they are always desired b:pleased

    cowshops are players who have purchased the "Shop License" from the cashshop (Boutique) for 5 Gold. they offer one additional sell slot and one additional buy slot, and also allow for a longer shop title. they also look cute b:laugh

    as for the last question, yes, players will browse through all the different shops, but will be more likely to browse if you specify what you are selling in your shop title (eg. "DQ30-50" or "Midmats!")

    and no, your cat/cow shop will not stay there if you log out, and you will have to rearrange every item to your catshop everytime you login back.

    Debatable. They never sold particularly well (aside from the bankers' quest ones, and even then...), and now they're selling even worse now the horses are in the CS. IMO, the reduced inventory space isn't worth the extra 200-500 coins you can charge. I personally just npc them all.

    In addition, the cowshops allow you to use 10m notes as currency directly.

    The banker quest items can be quite profitable for new players who haven't got much starting capital. The DQ31 items that are needed for your flying mount can be particularly valuable if you set up in the correct locations. When starting a new character I go with trading DQ items to generate quick starting funds.

    However, the most you can expect to earn is around 350k profit per day if conditions are perfect, and once you've got enough coin to invest in higher-volume/lower-markup items you can do much, much better than that trading other items instead.

    i've never had any trouble selling DQ. in fact, whenever i set up shop, my DQ sells out first, before any other things i sell. want to know why? i don't charge 8k for each dull claw like all the other greedy fcks that play this game b:laugh

    I have two additional questions:

    1) To put an Item in the Items Wanted section of the store do I need to have at least one of the type of item I am looking for?

    2) Somebody has on his Items Wanted Section 100 Pig Iron. I have 20 pig iron and I want to sell it to him but when I drag the item to his store nothing happen. Do I have to sell the whole amount he is buying?

    Annoyingly, yes. This means you can't really use catshops to buy equipment.

    you don't have to sell the whole amount - the trick is that you have to drag your item onto the right item slot - you can't just dump it in the sell box the way you do with NPCs.
