FC Experience & Questions

So I did my first FC run yesterday and it was pretty fun. I did it with this character (A level 78 LA cleric with a little over 3k hp unbuffed) and a squad that had one of each class (though it wasn't planned like that). No one was above level 89, but all except me were above 80 and I was the sole cleric. I think it went pretty well. No one died except one at the bishop spawning boss, but in my defense I was slept by the mob twice in a row and my Chromatic Heal, which I then tried to single out and spam IH on the person, was interrupted 7 times in a row. Never seen that kind of interruption on a run or anything before. I was able to revive right away though and after that no worries. I was lucky enough to not die at all although I was prepped with GAs and Rez scrolls in case. I was told I wouldn't need an MP Charm, but I cracked open a fresh one just for the occasion and was glad I did especially on my first run. I also tossed on an HP charm for good measure, but didn't need it. It might have ticked once or twice, but it was while I was BB on the last boss so it would have healed me anyways.

The squad I did it with was pro so it made it easy for me. Each knew their job and did it well and the squad leader, the barb, took a second before each major section or boss to explain what was up and what was the best thing for me to do. No vent was needed. Just a couple seconds of me shutting up and listening and good direction from the team. It was a lot of fun because I got to actually think at a boss instead of spamming IH or just BB (although some bosses are BB or RB for a bit). I also was glad the barb had me jump back out and level my Chromatic AoE Heal to level 8 before we got too far in. It paid off and was a smart suggestion. I only used that skill rarely until now and at level 1 had gotten me this far, but in FC it was a must to level it. I only wished leveling it reduced cast time.

So that's how it went and I enjoyed myself, but now for the questions. All that dropped were 3 tokens of some sort that said Frost Covered City Past and 1 Evasion amulet (+164 Evasion with stats of an additional +162 evasion and +4 vitality). I got one of the tokens and the amulet from random drop rate, but it seems like a crappy drop rate. That means no one else really got anything. Is this the norm or did we just have a bad run? Looking at the tokens it seems you need 1000 of them to make a weapon from the Martial Arts Master so those can't be worth that much and I have no idea how much the evasion amulet would be worth to sell. I certainly have no need for it as a cleric. Does it decompose into anything worthwhile? Like lunar mats for a weapon? Can you do anything else with the tokens? I mean 1000!!! We only got 3 on this run so even if each run they pooled them together and gave to one person that would take 333 runs.

So this cost me a little over half a gold mp charm and a little under 3 hours of my time and even though I got more then anyone else in the group I still got very little to compensate. I did get about 20% exp from the mobs and if I knew better I would have come with a miji.

So have I summed this whole thing up right? Basically it's 3 hours of something new in trade for 1/2 a charm and some exp? Have I missed anything? Where do we petition for better drops and drop rates. I mean the mobs didn't even drop normal gear or DQ items either. Only coins.

You got an amulet,so it was a pretty good run, normally only get tokens.

At lvl 85+ you get a daily quest and when finished are given a prize box... the items in this box have such a wide range ie: can only get 100 perfect stones if unlucky, so apart from for the Xp Frost isnt worth running.

Dont get me wrong the xp is worth doing Frost for, if you go in for anything else but that you will be disapointed

Frost bishops ae will interrupt, thats why you had that interrupt rate. There's a genie skill to combat it, otherwise you just need to be ready for it. HP charms help a lot on bosses 2 and 4 as well.

The drop rates are pretty much right, at 85 you also get a reward for completing the place from repeatable quests. It's random what you get with the possible items being 100 perfect stones, coin chests (seriously), random flawless shards, and very rarely... gold frost gear.

The green items drop off bosses and are rare. Past of FC City, I wouldn't worry about, though I've heard some people sell them (you can't discard and they don't sell, but you can trade/catshop them). Green items drop around a 1/30 rate it seems.

Good to know about the chest you get at 85. I was wondering why everyone kept saying you didn't get FC quests until 85, but I had some from a quest chain at 76 I think. (Bosses and mobs). Know I know this is what they meant.

Anyone know how much the green lunar amulet is worth? I'd like to recoup some of my charm burn.
